This is hard to find, going north on Tverskaya Ulitsa, stop short of Tverskaya Metro station and go through an arch in the buildings on the left side of the street. It's about 100 metres down a dark alleyway. It's up a metre of steps, there are steps inside so disabled visitors will struggle. It's Georgian cooking, so similar to... More

Went there with some colleagues. Had a great time. Lot of wine (Georgy). The food is based on Georgian food and excel in it. The food is fresh, served hot and in general delicious. Don't miss the cherry cake desert.

Was there for a dinner. Nice, small cozy place with the second floor. Impeccable service. Very small portions of main courses. Nothing outstanding. What I liked most was the pie. Pie with the beet tops. Although I think any pie here would be mindblowing! )) There is wifi. Not bad coffee.

Though traditionally Georgian cuisine in the city is not the cheapest here you will find great prices and very tasty dishes. It's not luxury place but very cosy. Located in very city center on Pushkinskaya metro. On weekends they also have piano player. Traditional wine selection. Friendly service. You will also have free fresh apples at the entrance. They are... More

Our family of three went after a long day at Red Square and the Kremlin. At first seems like all their tables were reserved but few were actually occupied . Eventually we talked our way in on the promise we would spend no more than one and one half hours (plenty of time). While the service was a bit rushed,... More

Had chicken soup, which was wonderful, and nice pork kebab. I did choose the spicy (chili based) sauce because I like spicy seasoning. It was good but the chilies were close to overpowering. Go off hours because this place fills up fast

Wow, this was a delicious meal! We went as a group of colleagues, on the recommendation of a Muscovite colleague. It was amazing! A Russian-speaking colleague handled the ordering (I don't know if the menu was in any other languages besides Georgian and Russian), and she ordered a little of everything. There was 1 other vegetarian, and we had more... More

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
