A must to visit and dine. One of the best dining experiences ever!!! Food is absolutely fantastic, very authentic and wholesome. Soups are a must!! Cooks are Uzbek so they make dishes exactly how they are supposed to be. Great service too. Some weekend evenings they are booked up, so advance reservation might be appropriate. Would put 10 stars if... More

We went there after awful experiences with some of the restaurants we visited, thinking that ethnic traditional food was going to be better...My gosh!!!!! I can eat anything, and It is true, but I could not swallow the dishes made with rancid ram fat, and pieces of stomach of old ewes and overcook rice and so on and so forth.... More

Went there for a small lunch. Finished after two hours - completely full and completely satisfied. The variations of Uszbek jams were marvelous! They made our day!

My host family suggested we try this place because they make really good Uzbek food. I have to say I fully agree with them! The ambiance is very traditional, with dimmed down lights, tastily engraved wooden panels and waiters dressed in their traditional attire. The menu is huge and very comprehensive. On top of more traditional Russian and Middle Eastern... More

Delicious salads with fresh lemony flavours and aubergine rolls with spicy sauce were good. Also Uzbec dumplings in broth were really good. We enjoyed tasty kebabs with freshly baked traditional bread and a mixture of traditional pastries for dessert. The staff did not speak much English but had helpful photos of the dishes and made us feel welcome.

Great food and service. Central Asian cuisine but lots of vegetarian options (not just an overload of meat). Menus were in Russian but also in English and with lots of pictures so it was easy to select. Wait staff didn't speak English, but were very attentive. Reasonably priced (entree and main course) $50 AUD for 3 people - we weren't... More

We have just spent an evening at this lovely Restaurant. The menu has limited English description but a book with pictures was also provided to help us decide with ordering. We chose a salmon and lamb dishes with two vegetable sides. Our meals arrived and were excellent, the lamb tender, the salmon moist and tasty and presentation was superb. We... More

I went there yesterday. I ordered "katlama", "ayran", "yanichar", "grilled vegetables", "rice", "shurpa" it is clear that i had big expectations about the food. But unfortunately i just liked "yanichar" the rest was less than average:( Ayran : yoghurt what they use for ayran was so sour. Katlama: It was not fresh. Grilled vegetables: they did not serve it well.... More
