This is the big breakfast buffet for the Shangrila. We are all captive audience since there is not much around the hotel. There is a big selection of chinese and western food. It is very crowded when the tour groups come in. Food is OK and the espresso machine coffee is much better than the brewee

When the cafe has to cater to the massive tour groups eveyday, you can imagine what type of food they offer. For the dinner buffet, it was not impressive at all...I could not remember anything I found extraordinaire. However, the chinese restaurant across the hall offers more interesting dishes than this massive western style buffet.

Good variety of food, and excellent local cuisines representations. Freshness of ingredients and well presented, service is great too. I really enjoyed the variety of rice porridge served here, dericious.

As a loyal Shangri-La visitor I know what to expect from the café restaurants in their hotel. I wasn't disappointed. Very correct English staff very helpful (allergic to some food) and every time warning that in that dish could be something I was allergic to ! Some European restaurants could take an example!!! Price a bit high but you're at... More

The food here seemed to have a lot of options, but if you have any kind of dietary restrictions, it's very difficult to find out what's in something. However, if you don't have any restrictions, then this is a good place to find a big variety.

We didn't eat in the cafe, we ate outside it, nearby the front window that overlooks the pool and beautiful garden. If you're non smokers like us head up towards the grand piano as that is a non smoking area. Lisa who was running this area was very professional, attentive and super friendly. I had Hainanese Chicken (delicious) and my... More

No juice bar, no omelet bar, no noodle bar. Taste/selection was poor. Overall, very disappointing and not what you would expect with such a highly rated hotel chain.

A causal restaurant with multi-cuisine international buffet. The selection is broad and the quality is exceptional. The space is large so there is typically not an issue regarding reservations. The only concern would be over indulging on the tasty offerings. Worth a look.

Clean, good value and a great overall experience. Good overall value for money despite being located inside the Shangri-La Hotel. Must try the indian Naan bread and the local Noodle bar.

The polite, courteous and helpful staff made dining in the Li Cafe most pleasureable. The extensive variety of delicious food and refreshments available is obviously not designed for people on a diet. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Li Cafe was crowded, an indication of the top quality food, refreshments and service.
