Service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious!!! The veal that I had was the best veal that I have ever eaten. It just melted in my mouth. It was such a wonderful dining experience in a very intimate setting. Highly recommend!!!!

I cannot rave enough about this special and exquisite experience. As with many things the Japanese touch, the level rises beyond its excellent roots. The chef is charming and talented and humble. My husband is picky and did not want to be burdened by a...More

After eating Japanese cuisine for almost a week, a craving for a dinner of other flavors set in. Our party of 4 could not have been more pleased with this restaurant; it was a fabulous experience. From the service, menu selection, wine list, and personal...More

Lovely tiny restaurant (5 tables) in Gion (Kyoto) with exquisite and delicious menu and specialties from Piemont. The Japanese owner/chef spent eight years in North Italy learning from the best chefs! Don't miss it!

We stumble across this place looking for a break from Japanese food. It wasn't your average pasta joint. Amazing, high end Italian cooking, with incredible service. Very small, probably only seats around 12 people but have a look if you are in Kyoto.

Gion is Kyoto's famed Geisha District (called "Geiko"

Geiko and Maiko in their traditional makeup with
gilded hair in full kimono can be seen drifting the
streets on their way to and from work, where they fan
dance, sing, and play instruments for customers. Gion

We had the concierge at the hotel call. Email would probably work. They are very friendly and accommodating - Enjoy!
