Came here on a double date and was not disappointed, had the Tomahawk with blue cheese sauce and it was amazing, cooked to perfection, good selection of wine that matched the meat! Staff were very attentive, best part was when they cooked the fat with...the char kway teow, tasted crazily amazing! Definitely coming back againMore

Had the duck pasta and chicken wings. Not worth the while. Expensive with poor portions. The chicken wings portion worked out to be rm5ish per piece and tasted blah. Definitely not a food place.

Food was average and price resonable but nothing to shout about. The service staff needs a bit more training as their English were very difficult to understand.

Didn't I just praise them a month ago?? This recent visit wasn't amazing. We had the Sher Wagyu which was a bad cut, far off from Kobe Cuisine wagyu which was a lot more tender. Staffs were also terrible - only trying to push people...to purchase the tomahawk and when we didn't want it their faces changed. One of the waiter could not even pour wine properly without messing up our entire white table cloth! Another instance when I already kept my cultery and had a serviette on my plate, the staff wanted to put my cutlery back to the original place and remove the serviette so I could "reuse" my plate. You must be joking, are you THAT lazy to change my plate??? Who on earth would allow you to remove a serviette and reuse when it's already ON the plate? Gosh.. it shows that when you don't order what they want you to order the service is basically crap... We had quite a medium priced wine (wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but it definitely wasn't cheap), not the most expensive cut, and we got such treatment. When we didn’t wanna order more she just kept pushing more dishes and face turned black when I didn’t went to. Much later we told them to cancel the pasta as we really could not eat anymore but they refused to because it’s already “prepared” when we told them not to until we give them the green light. Later on they agreed to cancel. Seriously, I love the oven/kitchen but your staffs needs to be trained to serve, not to be money minded.. They push all they can, are they getting incentive for this or? Their behaviour totally annoyed me so I’m not sure if there will be a next.. And please don’t ever have the portobello. It’s horribly tiny and the tiniest portobello I’ve ever seen, maybe I’m used to cooking those I’ve got in the UK so these are pathetically tiny for the price they charge!More

It would be mean if I give anything lesser than 5. Def one of the better steakhouses in town! I tried the Kobe Cuisine ribeye wagyu 300grams and it was marvelous. I have not tasted this chargrilled flavours since Spain trip a year ago! That...amazing grilled flavours, I can’t explain. Medrare doneness was delivered and seriously can’t complain at all. Aglio angel hair was simple to go with our steak. The only issue is the waitress is trying too hard to sell tomahawk. She said 1.3kg is good for two, after all half the size belongs to the bone. We struggled with 300grams of meat and a pasta already... Letalone a whole tomahawk and ordering a tomahawk comes with another plate of CKT (beef fat is used to fry the CKT). It’s honestly amazing if you have a party of 3-4 really. 2 person? Pushing the luck and it’s not fair to say 2 person can finish it, you’re just trying to sell without considering your customer’s welfare. This is the only downside - so don’t fall for their trick. Many of those who came, had to takeaway food they could not finish. Not a fair recommendation.... They sell a lot of tomahawks (profit perhaps?), and the smaller cuts comes in really limited. That does not mean I won’t return. I will, just with 3-4 pax to fully enjoy the tomahawk as I’m never going to take away (stupid idea). This place is (surprisingly) better than whatever Asia or Malaysia top steak places - just that they don’t market themselves so highly.More

Love this location on Bangkung in Bangsar. Definitely more genteel, cozy and convivial. A last minute reservation, an early slot and a relaxed comfortable table on the terrace. An attentive service team. We picked their special from the chalkboard. It was served less than 20...minutes after we placed the order so we guessed that the sizeable (1.6kg) steak had been “sous-vided” (nothing wrong with that but to a purist, it is a bit of a cop-out) prior to a quick fiery finish on an open grill just to caramelise and char the fatty surface. The medium rare done-ness requested was therefore delivered very competently and evenly right through the whole slab. The crusty build-up on the bone and tips was deliciously smoky. Thankfully, the seasoning was straight forward and kept simple so as not to mask the natural umami-ness of the prime cut. The first bite was excellent. So was the jus. A unique feature to the meal is that they will carve out the fatty part of the steak, mince it up and render that to fry up a delicious serving of char kwey tiao. Really delicious Forty Licks ice cream in Guinness, Hoegarden, Rum & Raisin, Bailey’s finished the meal perfectly. Looking at the overall experience, it did not disappoint - scoring an easy 8/10. Benchmarking against other players in the market, the ‘other’ notable Tomahawk place in SS2 would still ranks higher for its technique, taste, value for money and meat quality.More

Had not been at Lucky Bo for past 1.5 years. To celebrate one friend birthday recently, and we all 8 of us voted for steak dinner. Mr. Gobi was the Manager assisted our reservation and setting. Steak no dubious that we ordered Wagyu Tomahawk, rib-eye...to share. All 8 of us sampled few other fabulous dishes and the wok-fry ho-fun east-meets-west fusion was a gem. We could not believe this traditional dish founded from Hong Kong Cantonese restaurant was able to go beyond here in KL. Lucky Bo is succinctly cozy, and we were seated at the middle of dining space without disturbance to nor from us and others patrons. Good experience at this special returns. Salute to Mr. Gobi and waiting gents and ladies. CheersMore

When we feel like giving ourselves a good tomahawk treat, this is the place we come back to. Though the price is expensive, this is what you should expect to pay if you wish to have a good tomahawk. A 1.8kg is good for about...5-6 pax. Service is good, we had a party of about 12 pax and were taken good care of. The restaurant is quite small with not many tables, therefore reservations is recommended especially if you are in a big group.More

2nd time there and had a wonderful time. Our waitress was very attentive. Our tomahawk came a little too pink for our liking and she quickly took it back to have it redone to perfection. It was so tasty that I had my share without...any sauce, simply delicious! My parents had the grilled chicken and found it a little too charred but the waitress took it back to the kitchen and got us a new juicy one. Highly recommended and good price for a tomahawk! We decided that we will be back!More

We ordered tomahawk to share. And we wanted it cooked the way we wanted. But it took them 40 min cook 150g. The rest of it was good. Sadly service doesn't match the bill.

We pop in without reservation after a request from my wife for Tomahawk steak that we missed at Nusret Istanbul... We were lucky to get a seat as it's almost fully booked.... We were told better to reserve few days earlier next time Well... it's...marvelous! The tomahawk certainly didn't disappoint us, it's tasty pure medium grilled, comes with char kueteow fried from the fat of the meat and the staff are wonderful bunch of gals! Very pleased and will come back again with the kids next time...More

Having a desire for a good steak we decided to visit Lucky Bo as they seemed to offer a good selection of steaks. However on seeing the steak list on the blackboard I was surprised to see that at least half of the varieties were...unavailable. I eventually chose a ribeye wagyu steak (I believe all their steaks are wagyu). This was a 300gm steak (although looked smaller on delivery) and was served with a rather paltry selection of very ordinary vegetables and two small pieces of roast potato. The taste of the steak was good although rather on the smoky side but it had a very soft texture making it not so pleasant. The red wine we ordered came served very chilled - when do restaurants learn that red wine should be served at room temperature! On the whole and given the price I paid I was disappointed with this restaurant and will be fulfilling my steak desires elsewhere next time.More

Quite a pleasant place for my wedding anniversary dinner.. Nice steak meal, wasabi prawn starters and home made cake .. Did not really favor the pasta and miss out the tomahawk steak since it is just me and my wife ... the smallest size available...for that night was 1.6kg for the tomahawk so way too much for our choice ..More
