The restaurant is old and out of maintenance, but the kueh zap and kueh tiao kia is really surprised me, is delicious and inexpensive. Strongly recommended

One of the famous pork noodles in klang valley. Always crowded & difficult to get a parking nearby. The soup is a bit salty & pork is over cooked during our visit

Had curry mee to take away due to the hot weather and packed Coffeshop. Priced at RM6.50 small are indeed very small. Choose your noodles and the foreigner will cook for you. Served with chop long beans, 4cockles,1small prawn, couple beancurd, few stripes of brown squid and pork blood cogulated are served on white broth. Broth are mild and does not have a strong curry taste to it. Comes with chilli which they put them separately. Mix it in the curry broth and it tasted way better Pork blood cogulated are not smelly like the one I had in Penang, so I like it.

A month ago today, Tuesday 18.10.22, another dish off my checklist, the pork noodles at OUG Restoran Sun Sea for lunch with Jack and my insurance agent, Mervyn. I’ve been coming to this since before I married Jack’s dad like 30 years ago and it still taste as delicious 😋 in food heaven and nostalgic 🥰💛

Located at the busiest section in OUG as the market is also at the area. Suggest that you park your car as you turn in to the road on your left after the traffic lights. A 5 minute and you will be there. Crowded as a number of stalls operating, the busiest being the Pork Noodle shop. The pork noodles with soup (don't forget to ask for an egg with it) was a bit less on the salt( can be repaired with soy sauce with chilli padi) but was still flavoursome. Be warned that the shop is crowded and expect to sit with strangers. Service was reasonable despite the crowd. Will go again to try the Penang Curry Mee who also does good business.

Hear a lot about this outlet and travelled to OUG to check it out. Located in Restaurant Sun Sea a typical kopitiam where cleaniness is of their least concern. Disregard this cleanliness issue and you can try out the authentic Penang curry mee. The serving size is pretty standard at RM6.00 per bowl. Notably it comes with cogulated pig blood, taufu, long beans, prawns, sotong and cockles. The curry flavor is not so strong and tastewise is so so only... when compared to those in Penang. No oomph for this curry mee... guess it's not a die die must try....

There's this stall at Sun Sea which sells very authentic Penang white curry laksa that has this white broth with cuttlefish, long beans, bloody cockles, prawns and pig blood curd, not forgetting a spoonful of the sambal which is the heart and soul of this dish! At RM 6 per bowl, I'll bet this stall will satisfy your crave for a bowl of tasty Penang Laksa!

The Kopi shop really need to refurbished as ages now n still not really taken care of it. Foods now downgrading as too Commercialise n lost the Authentic taste n prices quite expensive. Whatever is it- owner should heeds the constructive advise of refurbish the shop n clean up the whole shop as really dirty n rats running around. I am only telling the facts n not like some only give credit n dare not criticise.

The first thing coming over to this area, is like not so appetising, as it looks chaotic, especially in the morning where there are people trading their business at the side of the roads, thus causing slow moving traffic which may deter one to come look for food in this area. Once found a place to park, which is like a gem in a hay stack, this place is also not appealing as it looks rather messy and not so organise. Well, that's just the outlook. The main purpose coming here is for the good food. Friend recommended that the most popular item is pork noodles. Okay, ordered that. Then also recommended the curry noodles which is like Penang style. Okay, ordered that. Also the Penang style fried koay teow, okay, ordered that. Saw someone having some dry noodles and spotted a stall that sells Sarawak mee kolo. Friend said don't know. Okay, went to the stall and ordered that. The food came quite quickly. All our orders were not disappointing. Then my friend ask, who was frying the koay teow. Told her the man was doing it. Ahh.... the man's wife does it much better. Well, too bad. Missed it. Anyway it is not too bad. Just a little wet. The curry noodles is really really nice, especially the curry which is milky and creamy. The pork noodles is recommended.. As for the Sarawak mee kolo is also really nice. Well, so much we can eat. If there is opportunity to ome back here again, may try something else to see whether they are good or otherwise. The drinks too is really really nice. Ordered Teh See (Tea with evaporated creamer) and my friend ordered Cham See (Mixed tea and coffee with evaporated creamer). these days no more canned milk, be it evaporated and condensed. Most places these days when making such drinks using creamer does not taste nice at all, some would be sourish. But for this shop, the drinks is really really good, just like the old days. Brings back fond memories. As the saying goes, Don't judge the book by its cover.

A local daily wrote on this popular Penang curry mee so I called in the early morning to make reservation for 5 packets & true enough, at 11.30 a.m.David returned my call & said their Curry Mee soup was running out so I have no choice but to packet it early as my collection was at 1.30 p.m.When I went there to collect, David was already relaxing on the chair waiting for me to collect my packets & calling it a day.Curry was good with the added chilli paste & came with Pigs blood.Check it out
