Reminiscent of a refined French café, The Brasserie serves fresh, seasonal ingredients with Mediterranean culinary traditions. Open for breakfast, The Brasserie serves the city’s best breakfast dishes from the iconic Malaysian Nasi Lemak to decadent Eggs Benedict. At lunchtime, The Brasserie serves an Executive Business Lunch set menu and an eclectic a la carte menu, from the finest fish to salads and plats du jour. At night, The Brasserie transitions to a contemporary dining space offering French-Mediterranean fare with delicious sharing options and curated menus.
MICHELIN Guide: Good cooking
The chef draws from experience working with some of the biggest names in London and in fine dining restaurants across Europe and Asia to create a French contemporary menu with Mediterranean influences and a touch of Asian. They serve a five to seven-course tasting menu, à la carte and plenty of vegetarian options. The beverage list is outstanding, with a good selection of wine and spirits to be paired with the food. The Sunday brunch offers a huge range of fresh seafood.

The stay was good in general but the one thing that worth trying out would be the Sunday brunch in St Regis KL Sentral. Chef Akmal in particular was very attentive to the needs of each guest that changes the whole stay experience. Food that is served is quality and value for money, especially when there is lobster, caviar and even truffle. Strongly suggest to try out the brunch on Sunday if you’re around.

Chef Akmal and his team take great pride in offering a memorable dining experience, and your recognition of their attentiveness and the quality of the food means a lot to us. We're delighted that you enjoyed the luxurious offerings, including lobster, caviar, and truffle, and found it to be excellent value for money.
We appreciate your strong recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back soon for another exceptional experience.

First of all: we have been, and remain fans of the fab St. Regis celebratory brunches here in KL. This particular Easter one reflected a number of ‘changes’ (even mentioned to us by one of the chefs, upon arrival). For us, we missed some. stations (carvery, pasta, e.g.) and live music/any music. No foie gras this time, no sashimi, or ice cream. The dessert bar was noticeably thin on chocolate offerings (one of my husband’s faves), but also lemon/apple elements, as well. Upon being seated, 4 beautiful canapés were brought to us, but we felt badly that we weren’t fans of them all and therefore, some waste. Similarly, the portions of the 3 proteins were prescribed — I’d have probably only done the salmon (which was divine!); the duck was fine & the Wellington (which they promptly changed for medium rare, upon request) was okay — but it was just too much. Not entirely sure why customer choice wasn’t more the case (as with carveries, etc…). The fresh seafood was wonderful, and the kids present were enthralled by the balloon guy. As always at the St. Regis, service was 100% spot-on — on a very busy occasion, they were somehow always ‘available’!

The customer service at The Brasserie is outstanding, and the food is equally exceptional. Every member of the wait staff is attentive and dedicated to providing excellent service. During our seven-night stay at the hotel, we enjoyed breakfast at The Brasserie daily, and the variety of cuisines was truly impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant for all your dining needs.

I had lunch at the Brasserie at St. Regis with my mother, aunt, and a friend, hoping to treat them to a memorable experience. Unfortunately, while the food was good and well-presented, the service was shockingly poor, especially for a restaurant with a Michelin mention.
Despite there being only 3 occupied tables (including ours) and numerous servers present, we were repeatedly ignored. At one point, there were around five servers grouped together at the other end of the restaurant, none paying attention to us. Simple requests like asking what cheese was being served took over 10 minutes for a response. The food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and we had to follow up multiple times just to get any updates.
The service was so inattentive that I had to keep my hand up for so long to get a server’s attention that my arm got tired. Even when we were the only table left, it was still a challenge to get any service. Coffee was served before dessert, and by the time dessert arrived, our coffee had gone cold. Despite raising our concerns when the bill came, the manager chose to shift the blame, saying he had instructed the staff before his break. No real effort was made to address the situation.
Considering the nearly RM1000 price tag for the meal, this experience was far from acceptable. I had hoped for a happy gathering to treat my family, but we left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
Giving a rating of 2 stars — purely for the quality of the food and presentation. However, the service severely damaged the experience. If the management doesn’t prioritize guest experience, I would not recommend dining here. There are plenty of other restaurants in the city that offer better service at a more reasonable price.

We had a most amazing 5 days of breakfast here during our stay at St Regis.
It was a pleasantly surprisingly wide spread given how few guest rooms the hotel has. The food was all around excellent, with the made to order dishes even more exceptional. My wife's colleagues agreed that the breakfast was the best thus far we had.
I asked exec chef azizi why the hashbrowns tasted so amazing (being crispy one the outside and fluffy on the inside), and he explained that the secret was that they were prepared and replenished fresh batch by batch. My guess that's why the pasteries were similarly significantly more fragrant and delicious than at other hotel buffets.
A shout out to sous chef briley who acted on my feedback that the nasi lemak rice was dry and lacking in lemak taste. The very next day I chanced upon him refilling the nasi lemak rice, and it was significantly improved!
We appreciated how thoughtful the culinary team was because they remembered we liked red apples even though it wasn't offered as one of the fresh juices. Everyday when we came, the chef would have on standby some red apples to make into juice specially for us and the kids.

I love the main menu - especially the steak with egg & the lobster with omelette. My father is vegetarian and Selva is very attentive. Right from the first day, he noticed that I would like to order vegetables with mushroom & no egg. He actually asked the kitchen to make a really nice dish and helped us “ordered” the same dish for the next 2 breakfast. I believed he already went above and beyond.
I’m actually coming back on Sep & hope that the old menu would still be there as it’s really their classic menu. I would personally suggest to keep the classic menu + new menu, as it would be a good variety & of course catered to both audiences who likes to try new dishes & also relive the moment with the usual.

Good variety of food options with a wide selection of local Malaysian cuisine. They would change some of food options so you wouldn't feel bored if you're staying more than a day. We were served by Jennifer who was very attentive, friendly and thoughtful throughout the meal. Overall a great experience!

What an excellent place to dine! Great service and incredible and thoughtful menu. The front of house made us feel so welcomed; no detail is too small for Siti. She is constantly anticipating your needs and making sure you feel special.
The food is full of flavor and taste, but the staff makes you feel you have entered into a different world. The expectations are high at St. Regis but Siti and her team exceed them.
The setting is nice and airy, full of light!

5 STAR Restauran! We stayed at the St. Regis for a short getaway to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and this place is AMAZING! Regardless of your diet preferences, they can do it all.
Given we have strict dietary restrictions, being lacto-vegetarian, the entire staff was beyond accommodating in telling us everything that was safe for us to eat. Not only that, they asked what we wanted and specially prepared dishes every morning to our liking. We wanted traditional food as opposed to typical Indian or Chinese and we got 2-4 different specially prepared dishes for us every morning by Chef Akmal!
Rendang, Mee Gorung, Coconut rice in banana leaf, Murtaba, Malay style dumplings, Stir fried rice and noodles and curry puffs were just outstanding. The rest of the fruit, salad, muesli and other prepared dishes in the buffet were excellent too! Can’t wait to go back to KL and see what else the amazing staff and chefs at The Brasserie can whip up for us next time!
Cheers, The Patel Family

The Brasserie at the St Regis is a great spot for breakfast and especially the Sunday brunch is not to be missed. I will definitely make sure to visit the St. Regis and The Brasserie next time I am in Kuala Lumpur.

The free ranch chicken was good. Children menu is available for younger kids, which is good as they are not "forced" to eat the adult food. Their signature cocktail is spicy and packs a punch. Nissha and her colleagues were attententive in serving us.

I had previously posted a very positive review of the St. Regis, KL some years ago and have returned many times since its "soft" opening in 2016 - that speaks to how much I like staying here when visiting the city. With this visit, I would like to mention how much I have always and continue to enjoy my visits to the Brasserie - for breakfast. The offerings for the breakfast buffet is impressive in terms of the quality and variety of foods - which span local, regional and western. I remember the limited offerings of foods in 2016 and to see the significant progression since is welcomed and appreciated. The staff is another important attribute that I will call-out - everyone is attentive, friendly and helpful - a very service-oriented culture is apparent. They were also very gracious and patient when one of the clients (next table over) was rather demanding and rude in his dealings and interactions (which I thought was extremely inappropriate) - well handled. When I visited by myself, the staff came to make sure I did not feel too isolated in a room of couples and families. I especially appreciate "Marvin's" overture the past few times I visited who made sure all my needs were fully met - even when I did not ask for it. If I could, I would have stayed longer to work and enjoy the many beverages - the room ambience is also very pleasant. Keep up the great work.

Had the 5 course meal with wine pairing. To pair with my steak, at first waiter tried to pour me Chablis. I said it should be a red. Then after some delay, he came with a red that is not in listed as the wine in the pairing. Insisting that the other was out of stock. After pouring and there is not enough for 1 glass, waiter took 15 minutes to come back and said he found the wine from the original pairing menu. Had my wine with a cold steak 20 minutes after steak arrived.
At the beginning, waiter after consulting his manager says, I will get 15 percent discount for Maybank credit card payments (ala carte) after deducting my amount of a voucher I had. I clarified this before ordering. Upon payment, they insist there is no credit card discount after using voucher. (Either or)
Plates and cutleries were not cleared and provided adequately for such a premium priced restaurant. Unacceptable.
As a platinum elite member. Not up to standard of Braserrie at St. Regis.

The meals include caviar scrambled eggs, lobster omelet, steak omelette and the service are all great!
The environment and service are both very elegant. There is also a dedicated service person in the bakery area to ensure the temperature is just right.
