My friend who living Malaysia for 5 years took my here. For us Japanese we miss this kind of place where we can enjoy a lot of vegetables. Basically food in Malaysia contained a lot of carbon. When we feel more vegetable we should go. Variety of soup, source also fantastic. My favorite is shark fin soup. I found out... More

I always love steamboat. This one is average. Nothing much to shout about. A regular steamboat place. The food goes round in a conveyor belt. Some food can be order like prawns, meat and others . There is an array of sushi, tempura, okominyaki, chawanmushi, curry fishball and lots of veggie, they have counter seating and booth tables seating that... More

Went for dinner at their Medan Imbi restaurant, easily accessible if you are staying close to Berjaya Times Square (Imbi monorail station). Restaurant decoration is average, service was fine and food an average mix of meat/vegetable/seafood to dip into your pot. I found the lamb tasty, other dishes average. Nothing to write home about.

I really like the fish skin appetizer. Food is above average with acceptable pricing, and you will be full if you have a set to yourself. I have to agree with WynnTan about the MSG laden soup, as each time after I eat here, I feel thirsty for quite some time. Service is a bit slow.

I like the food and the concept of steamboat as it is not oily. However, the soup was a little too salty (most probably from the MSG). Commented to the captain but didnt improve much during the next visit. We went to the one in 1U. You will notice (if you drink a lot of soup) that you will be... More

The food here was so cheap it was obscene. This steam boat restaurant was nothing fancy to look at but good fun and there is no way you coudlnt be full - although you do need to be comfortable with the whole steamboat way of cooking. The good thing here was that for the uninitiated or the less than game,... More

I was deeply disappointed after my first visit to the Imbi Branch. The food served was not fresh at all and the soup was tasteless. I am so frustrated with the car jockey services!!! At first they couldn't located where is my car and were running around finding my car. Ended up i need to find my own car and... More

We go to the Jalan Imbi branch more often than the One Utama. One Utama is pork free & we have noticed the meats @ Jalan Imbi are fresher. Pros : Individual electric hot pots with switch control - you can order whatever soup you like for yourself & cleaner than sharing from one big common pot. I recommend the... More

A hotpot meal is only as good as the ingredients that go into the pot. I dont care much for processed food like meatballs, squidballs, sausages, imitation crabsticks, etc. I prefer fresh ingredients. This place offers more fresh ingredients like sliced pork, beef, chicken, prawns and fish. I especially like the chicken marinated in wine. Don't over cook and you'll... More
