This place is busy as always. The foods are all great, but the chicken wing is true masterpiece. Don't hesitate to try their chicken wings. Always check your bill, sometimes they charge for the wrong amount of food.

Met an older uncle who grew up on this street amidst all the triad activities, more than 40 years ago. The place where we met, thru sharing a table, was the famous Ah Wah Chicken Wings. According to him, he was roasting wings outside his...shop more than 30 years ago and now has grown to what it is today. Suffice to say, throughout the years, this street has also been gentrified.More
Ever had a sudden attack of hunger pangs or cravings in the middle of the night? Fret not! Kuala Lumpur, like many Asian metropolitan cities, rarely sleeps! Take a stroll along the busting streets of Jalan Alor lined with mouth watering local delights and follow...the Smokey scent of an ongoing BBQ till you arrive at Wong Ah Wah. Famed for their BBQ chicken wings (RM4 per Chicken wing)which are occasionally licked by the flames of the BBQ resulting in a crispy skin with tender and succulent meat within with a touch of smokiness. Alternatively, you could order a plate of juicy satay with a choice of chicken, beef or mutton (RM 13). Terrible ! I don’t mind the food is pricey . I can afford for that. But please don’t give that damn black headed shrimp . Also, the size of ur “baby” shrimp seriously not worth that damn price. I judge not because this my first...visit. I’m the regular customer over the years. I’ve seen from good to poor quality. Please lah have some business ethic.More
Always come here whenever I am in KL. Loved the food. Chicken wings were nicely bbq and the satay is so yummy. The frog legs abit salty. But overall the dining experiences was enjoyable. Will want to come again!
The wings is juicy and tender. Price slightly expensive but Is worth it. The other foods is good as well. The best part is they do delivery but only to nearby from the shop
Aunty who served us were not as rude as reviewed by many. And this place, undeniably is a ripped off place meant for tourist. Food portion were small and the taste were below average. Chicken wings were not tasty, in fact it’s quite tasteless. Stingray...meat were hard and dry. Crab were ok. I guess if you’re a tourist and you need a quick run through for local food, this is the best place to dine in. But if you want local tasty food and wallet friendly, you’ll need to reconsider your choice.More
Very good chicken wings. Definitely worth trying. Good atmosphere and vibe. Staff a little unfriendly though!
I ordered 5 pieces of chicken wings, and I was thinking that I should order more of that. The chicken wings is tender and tasty. The sauce is good. And the price is affordable. Don't hesitate to try the chicken wings.
Well, apparently their signature dish the BBQ Chicken Wings don't meet my expectation. But the staffs and services were good, fast & helpful.
This is a serious street food establishment. They have a reputation to uphold and do a great job. Large bottles of Asahi (admittedly Japanese) helping wash down the local Satay. We had the pork, chicken and mutton selection satay which was good.
Still good but can be patchy. Alor is now dominated by a few big vendors but WAW is still the most traditional and reliable frequented by locals mainly. The BBQ chicken wings are still wonderfully consistent and delicious. The black fried noodles and fried fallopian...tubes with dry shrimps are delightful. The crispy beehoon is full of wok hei and should not be missedMore
This place was amazing. I kept on going back. The food taste and food quality was wonderful. Fast, knowledgeable staff. Waiter 'Sam' spoke good English and he was attentive and uncompromising on details. The food was some of the best that I've ever had. I...couldn't pick a favourite dish out. They were all amazing. Yum! The venue doesn't look flash from the outside, but wow the food is! It's right up there in my favourite global restaurants. It's that good! I'll definitely return to my new favourite restaurant.More
Crab is very poor.. not fresh. Price too expensive. Not worth it. Wont come again. Very dissapointed
Very busy place. Find your own table. Stand around people finishing. Two shop fronts so walk around for prospect. You can also share a big table if you are in a small group. If you are going by Grab put 1 Jalan Alor to avoid...traffic jam on Changkat Bukit Bintang. Wonderful chicken satay. The KL hokkien noodle, baked salt and pepper fish fillet, egg yolk deshelled prawns and stir-fried greens all good. Its famous chicken wings never came so we decided to call it a night. Worth a visit.More
