Had lunch here and ordered the cold soba with tempura. The soba was good and came in generous portion. Tempura was excellent with perfect batter. The prawn n vegetable tempura never tasted better. Ordered cawanmushi which was slightly on the hard side. Overall great value...and will definitely return.More

First time having lunch here with business partners. The ambience was good when we walked in. Not much of varieties on Japanese food. So we ordered what we was supposed to be good but then we found out the food was just average, nothing to...shout about. Hope there will be some changes the next time.More
It was our 1st visit to Kin San Kichi last week. The interior was amazing and the ambience was really authentic. It took some time for the waitress to take our orders mainly because she was busy and we couldnt get hold of the others...who were standing by the kitchen window. We ordered a kitsune udon, shishamo, fried squid, teppanyaki beef and teppanyaki salmon. The teppanyaki dishes took more than 1/2 an hour to arrive but the other dishes came out earlier. However, despite the long wait, the food turned out great! It tasted delicious, but it'll be perfect if it didn't took up so much time for the preparation.More
The place has a certain vibe that brings you to the old town, simple restaurants of Japan. The yakiniku don was delicious. It's just too bad that the chawanmushi was lacking the dashi flavour that I was looking for.
Due to their competitive pricing and quality food, the restaurant has been around for years in this neighborhood. We regularly come here for our sashimi fix. Their sashimi set is excellent value for money. Reservation recommended for weekends.
This restaurant has been around for quite a while and has a dedicated clientele. There is quite a wide selection from the menu with some great value sets. Food has been consistently good and pricing really reasonable. Service is also friendly and efficient. Parking might...be an issue here during lunch and on weekend nights.More
I have been coming here regularly for years and this place serves very good salmon sashimi and bento sets. The tempura and soba noodles are also good, as is their ramen noodles. Vicky and her husband keeps this place real and super friendly, always have...excellent service here. Meals are also great value and delicious. Always a dependable favorite when you need a delicious hearty lunch or dinner. Reservations highly recommended during nights and weekends.More
