We tried this restaurant a couple of times, during our stay in Kuala Lumpur. We have been to Thailand many times & love Thai food! This is a Thai/Japanese restaurant, but predominantly Thai.
We tend to like our food extra spicy & quite often stuggle to get this across. The staff at Sanoook listened to our requests and the food came out exactly as we asked.
Service was great and the staff couldn't do enough for you! We found them all very friendly & eager to please.
Good drinks selection (no alcohol), especially the mocktails! Good, reasonably priced restaurant amongst many others in Pavilion Mall.

This restaurant has become one of my go to restaurants for lunch in KL. The food is superb and great value, whilst the staff are attentive and courteous. A joy to visit.

The Thai food is certainly authentic and their midweek set menus are very good value. Friendly staff and efficient service. Not for the people that don't like spicy.

150 ringget for two does not get you anything but good service from the guy at the back of the room - the girls all had either bad day faces or RBF. The food sucks - across the board.
We ordered lemongrass tea which arrived almost at the end of our meal. Did they harvest the lemongrass down the road, and run back with it? Maybe that's why it took so long.
Then the mango salad, which really was the only delight to our palate - but not exciting.
The crispy duck was shoe leather. The soft shelled crab had been boiled thaw from frozen - still loaded with water, and, most inconceivably (yes, I know the meaning of the word, for you Princess Bride fans), sitting atop a bed of flavourless curry (how is that even possible?)
Do yourself a favour: if you are looking for a smile from a cute guy and frowns from the girls, spend your cash here. If you are looking for good Thai food - STAY AWAY!!

Average Thai food but good service and quality of food itself. I got some different foods and all were ok. Specially the green curry was delicious. In fact that this restaurant is close to "food republic" in Pavilion is worth to visit it.

Went in because kids loves thai food. But was surprised it was actually a fusion between thai and japanese. Ordered the tom yum soup, glass noodle and some other fried dishes. Taste are good but prices are a bit steep. Nevertheless, it’s a good place for family.

Smile is everything. Food is nice. Environment is nice. The staff. The staff really need to SMILE. Don’t ever show your stress to the customer directly tru your face.

I went there because of the offer through the entertainer. I was quite upset when I found out that we could have choose only the japanese section (no sushi) or some thai dishes (not all).... Useless offer.
About the food: the green curry chicken was nice, the sushi was quite good, the salmon teriyaki tasteless.
About the service: there was no one and we had to wait a lot (they forgot one dish). I wouldn’t come back

The food here is awesome, and the ambience as well as staff service was excellent! Food is served pretty fast and staff always seemed to ensure we were enjoying our meal.

I've tried their chicken cashew and sushi roll. Both taste great. The portion for chicken cashew dish is quite huge, suitable for 2-3 pax.
Overall, it's a good restaurant with a slightly pricey menu.

Great place to dine for a good Thai X Japanese Food 👍🏼 Love the salmon sushi roll and the Tom Yum Fried Rice. Definitely recommended. Nice ambience, price goes well with the quality.

The Beef/Chicken Noodles tasted great! The duck could be a little bit crispier & the spring roll was nice and crispy on the outside but was too soggy inside,should have been crunchy with the veges. Worth the try but staffs are not really knowledgable about the food because when we asked for extra broth of the noodles he said it has finished,then after explaining to him a little he came back with something like the broth but way saltier. The hot Thai Milk Tea is just nice to my liking,not that sweet and has great Thai Tea flavour. The other drink with coconut milk was great as well.

Great Thai/Japanese fusion restaurant! Loved the twist on the menu. The food was delicious! Green chicken curry, Mieng Kam - translates to 'one bite wrap' combining all 4 flavours sweet, sour, salty & spicy - tantalising mouthful! Unagi Tofu steak with Teriyaki Sauce - amazing and wonderful combination of flavors and textures.
