One of the best restaurant in town. You don't "Only" eat - but also "Feel" the food. Extremely clean - Staff very well "educated" polite and smile. Elegant and Classy place. Bill / Food / Service in extremely balance.

Its an elevated dining experience at Flour. With Chef Yogi creativity, playfulness that brings out great flavors for your palate with layers of combination of elements with the limited edition ‘Reborn’ menu showcasing most loved dishes in 2021 and given a reboot. Service from the...crew & Chef Yogi engagement was top notch. The cooking techniques certainly is taking indian cuisine to the next level. Come with an open mind & leave wanting more. Used to frequent flour all the time before Covid. It was in the neighbourhood and we loved the Briyani, Dahl, and several good authentic dishes. Then they moved downtown and Covid happened. They have quit serving lunch, that’s their choice. Now Yogi has gone to...a set meal arrangement B and it’s outrageous. Menu is complicated and way over the top! Very expensive small portions loud noisy restaurant and you have to pay 12 Ringgit to park. Don’t see how this restaurant will be appeal to us anymore, simply not worth it! Indian food should not be so complicated and expensive.More

It was a special occasion and we wanted a special occasion restaurant - Flour did not disappoint for a moment. We were welcomed into a very stylish dining room and offered a special promotional cognac tasting - a great way to start and gave us...time to get the feel of the place. You can see the chefs working away calmly supported by a team of wait staff going about their business in the dining area. We were taken to a table and before we realised what was happening, Chef Yogi was presenting the first of 11 courses from his vegetarian tasting menu. He didn't just present the food - but also the Ayurvedic principles that inspired the overall menu. The care that went into each dish was obvious from his descriptions and the thoughtfulness behind the whole experience was evident. The dishes were designed a) to look and taste great b) to surprise and c) to educate. We had chocolate "quail egg" with spiced oil spheres, mashed potato inspired by Robuchon but enhanced by India, inside-out tomato, re-imagined samosas. The menu changes quarterly so don't expect to see those items if you go there now. The wait staff are absolutely top notch. Food appeared and disappeared, napkins were folded, water was poured - all as if by magic. You never needed to look for a waiter - they were already there taking care of whatever it was. This isn't Indian food - it's Indian inspired but also draws on the chefs travels around the world. Great ideas, good food, fantastic service gave us the special occasion dinner we wanted.More

Flour rising has recently launched a take away menu to mark MCO 3.0. This menu is comfort food Indian, rather than their normal fine dining. We ordered Chicken in Butter Sauce, Mutton in Garlic Sauce and some Indian breads. To our surprise the we found...some additional items with compliments of the chef. The ordering & payment process was hassle free. They don't except CC payments but offer multiple options for Online Bank transfers. the prices of dishes was extremely reasonable and decent portion size. The delivery arrived "right on time" for our dinner and as we stay close to the restaurant the food was still warm. But to mention the attention to detail there was a note attached to the take away bag which stated all the reheating instructions, so that one got the best of experience, taste and flavour of the Chefs Creation. As they say most books are judged by their cover. The packaging of the take away food was excellent, very well presented and everything fitted nicely in a deluxe upmarket paper carry bag. Thank you Chef and the Four team for caring for the environment. Take away containers were Microwave proof, another plus adding to the convenience of reheating. Indian breads are to die for but the Laccha paratha was just divine and a real treat to dip into the sauce and the softness of the break with some crunch and the luscious Butter sauce was finger licking. the Mutton dish just melted in one mouth and the a completely different flavor from the Butter Chicken. Undoubtedly the best Indian food in Kuala Lumpur and it may not be incorrect to say in Malaysia. Well done Chef and your team - You guys are the best and please please please continue on this journey and wining the hearts of your customers through their stomach. thank you once again for an amazing dinner and we are certain this will be repeated many times form now. Highly recommended to anyone Indian Food Lover - if you want to enjoy really Indian comfort food then it is a must to try their take away menu. And if one wants to savor fine dining and learn about the origin of the dishes and the culture and history of Chefs fine creations with a touch of class, then undoubtedly Four rising is the place to visit.More

Had a wonderful dining experience at Flour and it started when reservations was made through Azie. It really sets the tone and what a culinary journey with Chef Yogi and the team. It was a journey of flavors and creativity through the specially curated French-Indian...Blossom Summer degustation menu. Come with an open mind and leave with wanting more. Great engagement from Chef Yogi and the team in terms of service levels. Will be back in Jun again. 👍👍👍👍👍More

was one of our favourite restaurants before the mco and before they moved to the new place.. started off pretty good with nice settings and a delightful mango lassi.. but that was all that good and it descended into a rather poor gastronomy experience hence.....maybe it was the choice of the food but than again we have ordered the similar dishes before.. the fish was horrible the chicken was tasteless.. maybe it was a night off for the chef or was it our taste buds had differed after the mco.. what ever the reason we sincerely hope they can regain their old cooking excellence..More

If you want something different If you want class, elegance and very high staff and above all meet the best Modern Indian Cuisine in town made by the superlative Chef Yogesh Upadhyah, this is for you. Ambient very clean. Reservation Mandatory. No slippers, no casual...dress. Very High Recommended.More

We had lunch here and were swayed by our experience. Service was nice and friendly and they were also accommodating to our requests to help us take photos. The decor is mostly in black and white and very modern and pleasing, nothing suggests that this...is an Indian restaurant. The toilet is worth a visit even to wash your hands, luxuriously well and thoughtfully appointed. The food was nice and I do not think it was too little as many here commented on. We ordered naan, cottage cheese with tomato, King Prawns and briyani chicken to share. After our meal, we ordered masala tea which was served in a fancy and pretty teapot set with butterfly motifs. The tea was rich and creamy and so delicious. Love everything here and definitely want to be back soon.More

We had high expectations. The restaurant is visually stunning. The head chef came & spoke to us about his philosophy on Indian cuisine - all of which primed us well. The dishes are inexpensive but all are small portions - starters & main courses alike...really are tapas dishes. That is no bad thing. But expect to need to order a lot of dishes to sate your appetite - which will push up the cost of your bill. But value for money wasn’t our key observation. It was the quality & taste of the food itself. The dishes all taste similar to one another. And none were visually appealing. Considering the artistic surroundings it was disappointing to be served bland looking offerings. The dishes were nicely spiced; but some were too creamy & sickly. And some were foul (the escargot dish isn’t pleasant - and I love escargot). It felt as if the produce (meat, veg & seafood) being used was rather low end. On balance, despite the great ambience & good service, and arguably ok value for money, I wouldn’t return. The food just isn’t good enough.More
