Nadodi Restaurant offers fine dining experience with high price tag. Wanted to try their briyani priced at RM180 for two for takeaway or delivery. As a foodie, I had to try !!. Briyani was delivered to my home in a nice looking reusable "Nadodi" bag....The briyani was of very good taste, but with such a high price tag I would go for good briyani from other restaurants. For me it's a one time experience!!More
This is our second visit because our first experience here was amazing and unforgettable. We loved the sound of their festive menu and it turned out to be as good as we expected. They missed a course in the menu but when we asked they...immediately rectified it and we are glad they did because it turned out to be the best dish in the whole experience. Service was number one. We went with the wine pairing but I think the cocktail pairing we had in previous visit was more worth itMore
We had the Nadodi Experience preset 9 course meal. Each dish was a burst of flavour and makes you want more. A very unique, top notch dining experience. Highly highly recommended! Staff were warm and welcoming. Kudos to the entire team for the wonderful memory.
When we made our reservations a week prior, little did we know that it would have been our final night out just before MCO 3.0. Therefore, it was with the spirit of a great anticipation for a wonderful night out when we stepped into Nadodi....The service was impeccable and the staff strived to please. The only small difficulty we had was hearing them clearly due to the mask and also because of the nice quiet environment, I believe they were a little self conscious to speak too loudly. Onwards to the Stars of the evening, the food. The meal began with a good saliva inducing starters of the Nadodi Trio and the Street Staples which is a sweet, slightly tart and spicy intro. These had a nice variation of textures and flavours that could only build up one's appetite for more. I would be remiss if I did not mention the delightful presentation of the food which pleases the visual senses very much. These were followed by a trio of seafood dishes, the Egg Kalaki with Alaskan King Crab and Caviar which I was instructed to attempt to ensure that all ingredients are savoured per mouthful. My dear dining partner did the Malaysian thing by mixing everything and eating it very well mixed like rojak. The Prawn Fritters with Yuzu Chutney is a winner and the Kinmedai Fish is a successful marriage with Japanese ingredients. This is the first time I have tasted Chicken Rasam and I have to say that this one is full of flavour, greed inducing and truly does it job of leaving one wanting more. I personally felt that the Brioche was a miss and perhaps, would have might have complimented the gorgeous Rasam better if the foei gras was served on a thin wafer. Next, THE LAMB with Lentils . . . I usually dislike eating lentils, BUT, this dish bowled me over. The lamb was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. And the lentils. Top marks on just the right texture of not too mushy and with the right amount of Bite. I cleaned the plate. . . Almost with my tongue. Yes, it was that good. Final hot dish of the evening is the infamous Nadodi Globe which is something most Malaysian are familiar with, Nasi Biryani. This is the hallmark of a solid establishment that they again managed to churn out consistently good tasting food every time. The Nasi Biryani is tasty and will probably push you to the level of gluttony. Stuffed as we are, we did justice to the delicious and well textured Chocolate dessert. Thank you Team Nadodi for the extremely palate AND visually satisfying Dinner. Happy MCO 3.0 :)More
Nadodi is absolutely exceptional - by any comparison, both within Malaysia and internationally; I have rarely eaten such beautifully cooked and presented food. The service was also excellent.
Every course was excellent. Not only the flavours were amazing, but just when you think the next dish can't beat the one before, they prove you wrong. We enjoyed every dish presented and struggled to determine which is the best as they were all closely...matched! The staff also took time to explain every course AND recommendations on how to eat them; which is great and were also very attentive to details. Will definitely be back for more.More
Excellent fine South Indian dining. A Gastronomic journey. Cosy atmosphere and tables are well spaced from each other, an essential prerequisite for this time.
Every course was really good... full and boldly flavoured. Staff was amazing, gave good explanation and subtly attentive. Will be back for husband's bday next mth!
Was a sensational meal, every dish was so delicious and further enhanced by their unique cocktail pairing and wine pairing. It's price is on the luxury side, but well worth it for a really unique gastronomy journey.
