Air conditioned shop in Pudu area. We ordered three different combinations of beef, stomach and tendon without noodles. Not like Hong Kong style as the pieces were cut small. Nice flavor broth and all tender.

Visited the Damansara Perdana branch.
They have a wide selection of beef, from Angus to A5 wagyu. I ordered their best seller, beef noodles that comes with short ribs, tripes and tendons... and also ala carte short ribs and navel. All tasted really good and the broth was fantastic.
Oh, but one downside is that the broth was served rather... warm. Would be better if their soup was hot enough.

This place serves beef noodles of few varieties and mostly on beef soup.
They do have 2 days which is Friday and Saturday where a thick broth as an added selection then the usual soup. Comes with roasted peanuts. The normal selections of beef meat, stripe, tendon and side dish such as tenderloin slices. If you are in KL central, this shop situated in Pudu district is pretty nearby by cab.

Its the second time we came with friends. Quite crowded on a Sunday lunch hour. We ordered different dishes of beef noodles. Taste good enough. However we feel the price is too steep, very expensive. Good to look at the price before placing your order.

I enjoyed the mix of lean meat, beef balls, ligaments and tripe.
At RM 16 a bowl it is still value for money.
The soup was rich in flavour and the portion was reasonable.

Not the HK style beef noodle, more like Sabah / Seremban mix rojak style.
They always try to push their expensive Aus RM25 beef noodle instead of local beef..
Pricey but they do offer generous portion which was okay. But they are quite stingy with soup which is so weird. We asked for extra soup and took forever to arrive...
Nevertheless, it is still one of the better places for beef noodle in town (if you don’t compare it to other countries)

You get your choice of noodles and types of beef. Decoration is simple at this family run establishment. The family seems comfortable with tourists who are coming because of great blog reviews. Service is helpful. Price may seem high but the quality of the soup ingredients, meat, tendon, stomach is also high and plentiful. An off the beaten track location that is highly recommended. Soup broth is smooth and not salty.

Visited the franchise of pudu yung kee @ damansara perdana. Opened for about 3months old only.
I have tasted good hk beef noodles in hk, however have not tasted the beef noodles from the original shop @ pudu, well due to the jam and sacred parking which I hated.
The beef noodle here are alright for me but my partner love the broth here. Well everyone have different taste and expectations, my experience here are average..
Had 2bowl of mix tendon noodles @ RM16 each consists of beef, 3beef ball, tendon and tripe. Tendon and tripe are always my favorite. Request for 1bowl dry noodle and 1bowl soup, the ladyboss said it’s unavailable as dry noodles are only available on Friday -Sunday only.
Had coffee cold @ RM3.80 and bamboo cane drink @ RM3.80. Coffee here are good and fragrant but has an aftertaste of bitter without the sour taste. Bamboo cane are very sweet and diluted and lack of herbal flavour. No sst or government tax here.
Accept cash and card here. Probably will try the original yung kee @ pudu to do the comparison with this franchise.

One of my colleagues from Singapore insisted I should go with him to his favorite beef noodle restaurant. The neighborhood is not attractive, the place is very basic but the food served is delicious. Quick service.
For a good coffee, go next doors at MCKY Coffeezone.

This has been on our radar for awhile but driving into Pudu on any other day (except Sunday) is troublesome. I always had the impression that this was what we call a 老招牌 [old signboard] but it is actually quite new. Just that it used to be a stall in a kopitiam and now has graduated into its own air-conditioned premises. Business must have been very good for such fast growth. Still appears to be a family-run business with mama taking orders, papa supervising the kitchen and little daughter helping to clear and clean the tables (hopefully just on weekends!) How quaint!
Aside from the regular mixed cuts bowls, we order the a la carte US Striploin (RM30) and ox tongue (RM25). All the bowls arrive at different times - they got to straighten out their production line! In fact one order was completely left out. Now, the soup is good, very meaty and umami (with a hint of Chinese herbs) albeit not as steaming hot as it should be. They are pretty stingy on the chopped spring onions and they overcooked the ox tongue - how disappointing! Thankfully the thinly sliced sirloin is super tender and cooked just right. The brisket is spot on and the wife says the honeycomb tripe is excellent. We noticed the soup for the noodles and a la carte meat have strangely different intensities. One seems diluted? Honestly quite a mixed bag of experiences. When we highlighted the tough tongue to the proprietor, he was apologetic. At these premium prices, there should not be those mistakes. Otherwise it may become a victim of its own success.
My score 8/10.
