Took my business clients for dinner/meeting. Beautifully decorated and good environment. Started with tapas of gambas & trio mediterranean cheese. Love it. The iberico ham salad was done perfectly to our taste. Mushroom soup was thick can smell the freshness. Our main was the iberico...spare ribs original flavour. The meat was tender and juicy. Excellent. Will come back again. There was a vast range of wine choices but we only had 1 bottle as my group are not keen wine drinkers. Will explore the wine collection on my next visit.More

Starters were ok, main course, my chicken was over cooked and tough, both came with undercooked vegetables. The main issues were the terrible service. We ordered two glasses of white wine and received from the waiter a persistent and hard sell for us to buy...a bottle of red wine, no idea why he thought we would want a bottle of red wine when we had asked for glasses of white? We were still eating our starters when the waiter asked if he could remove our plates, we said no, he then plonked two side plates on the table then left. He then bought the main courses when we had finished the starters, told us to keep our used knife and forks and removed our used plates. I would expect a restaurant of this type to provide clean cutlery with each course. When we had finished our main courses the waiter came to remove the two plates and scraped the plates at the table. The staff need to be trained in how to treat their customers.More

Visited on our second night in KL as we fancied some tapas based food. Place was virtually empty when we arrived at 8 which seemed odd with all the good (all be it many single contribution) TA reviews. Restaurant had very little Spanish vibe to...it - lots of wine on display but mainly French and Italian? Large display of Prosecco but surely Cava would be more in keeping? We decided what to order and asked for white wine by the glass. Waiter really didn’t have a clue and kept pointing to bottles of red wine even though we clearly said and pointed to house pour white wine. We ordered croquetas and Padron peppers to share. Waiter told us that the peppers were actually jalapeños(!) but we said ok that’s fine. However he seemed to be trying to dissuade use from ordering them and kept saying they were hot peppers, were we sure that’s what we wanted. We said yes and he eventually took the order. Why list them on the menu if you don’t think diners will want to eat them? Anyway the croquetas were fine but the peppers were indeed greasy jalapeños and not really anything like Padron peppers. Acceptable but that’s all. My main was pork collar - nicely cooked but with a pool of blood which whilst not a problem isn’t very visually appealing. The veg accompaniment was a bizarre mish mash of potatoes, carrots, etc plus some whole cherry tomatoes just thrown in for no great reason. My wife’s chicken with mushrooms was a boned out chicken leg which appeared to have been literally hacked out with a mushroom sauce that looked as though somebody had thrown up onto the plate. This also came with a weird mix of veg plus a potato gratin. It looked (and tasted) like a total mess. As with our wine order, the guy waiting on our table was totally clueless. Trying to take plates and wine glasses when we hadn’t finished, reaching over the table to clear instead of walking round the other side, etc. Minor things maybe but if the restaurant is trying to elude to somewhere you come for good food and service, they need to try much harder. When we finished our food, our waiter asked if everything was ok. I said that we didn’t think the food was very good which seemed to take him totally aback and not know what to do. I just said can we have the bill as it seemed pointless trying to have a meaningful conversation with somebody who really didn’t have a clue about dealing with paying customers. As I said earlier, the restaurant was virtually empty. Another couple arrived before we left but that was all. The weird thing is that throughout our visit, there was a guy on a laptop who obviously worked there - maybe the owner or the manager? - who seemed totally preoccupied with whatever he was doing whereas he would have been better employed trying to help run the restaurant and look after the customers. Probably the worst Spanish restaurant we’ve been too. More effort and better food required!More

It was pork. I suppose the rosemary is just for decoration, but I don't know what paste or sauce they used.
