Food and dessert are over prices. all i can say its about 70% difference. Service on the average. But , they do have a nice view and space for coupe or group dinning.

We love thai food and eat it often. This place does not know how to cook thai food. Everything was bland, service was very slow with only 4 clients in the place and the price high for what we got. 1 Pine fresh (good), 1...spring rolls (good), D/F fish cake (tasted like package sausage, not good), squid lime chili (had no chili and was chewy), Chicken basil leaves (needed spicing up), Morning glory (good hard to screw up), Jasmin rice (always good), sparkling water 750ml. Total bill 193RM. The ambiance was great, nice views on the man made lake, very romantic, peaceful, 3 servers seemed to be busy on their phones ¾ of the time but were friendly. We will not go back. Had better food and service for ½ the price in several other places.More

Great ambience! Food and service was awesome too! Please remember to make reservation before going as the new SOP were very well followed by the restaurant and staff. Do ask for signature dishes! 😘

We turned up without a reservation this time. Apparently they were fully booked but staff informed us to wait for the next available table which just took us about 15 mins. Food is absolutely delicious especially the steam River Lobster. We had the steam fish...before, so this time we go for the steam River Lobster with the lemon lime chili. Glad we had it. No dissapointment. Ohhhh....Please let the chef knows if you want to spice it up as they tone down the spiciness Great environment. For couple dining, go for the tables at the balcony 😊 Attentive service as usual since their first restaurant in Mont KiaraMore

My female friend wanted to have her birthday celebrated at this restaurant as she heard good reviews. Since it’s her birthday she wanted some rose petals do I made reservation and when the staff showed me the table they told me that i can’t decorate...with rose petals though I said I would discard it. The supervisor, Joe was utterly rude with his reply that I should have told them and accused me of raising my voice. They then made a call to the mgr n still insist no flowers decorations so I had to go to Bistro Richard which ie just next door. Utterly bad service n the patrons I met at bistro Richard told me yes, samira’s food used to be okay but not anymore as the chef left! I swear won’t be going as they are so inflexible esp at times of pandemic they were literally shooing customers away. But I guessed it was a blessings in disguised since their food is lousy. There are plenty of nice Ambience place to dine in anyway. I don’t like such rude restaurants that don’t have respects for its customers thinking they hv customers just bcos or the koi pond!More

A place which is irresistible beautiful with great sunset view across the lake. If you love nature dining try this place. Romantic dinner with great food and a full bar with cocktails, and great wines. Try their flowing noodles, The first nagashi somen behind the...garden but remember to make a reservation during this time as they practice hygiene not to mix with others public. And follow by the main course in their Thai Kitchen which their specialty over the years. They have a great bar at their downstair Tepi Tasik bar fro after dinner drinks too. Superb place in town !!More

We heard about Sentul Park & decided to visit this place on a weekend hence went to Samira for lunch on a Saturday. I was looking forward to a nice authentic Thai meal but was a little disappointed with all that we ordered. We ordered...one vege, pandan chicken, Tomyam seafood soup, sweet & sour fried fish, Thai green curry. Vege was decent, Tomyam was pretty good, but the other dishes were below expectation. Thai green curry was a big disappointment. Sweet & sour fish taste ok (the sauce) but fish was not very fresh. Service was acceptable. Prices are on the high side, the meal cost us about RM280 (fish was expensive). I noticed that there were only 3 tables (including us) throughout our lunch there. Kids enjoy their lunch as they were thrilled with the ambience (dining by the lake). We probably will come back to try other dishes but the only thing that i would re order is the Tomyam soup. Hopefully there will be more interesting dishes / new menu available in the future.More

Couple Dinner Date 1) Surrounding View/ Ambience : 11/10 2) staff & service: staff was nice but we were served after a family that arrived later than us which was odd and also had to wait quite a bit to order which was fine 3)...Food: 5/10 Lemongrass chicken = deep fried popcorn chicken 2/10 Spring roll = microwaved pack 3/10 Tom yum was good but it had one mussel, one prawn and one squid cut up into chunks. Dessert - nice but that was due to the water chestnut itself and not the taste as a whole 4) whiskey was nice really measured to a T Conclusion: way too overpriced for the overall experience. Could do way better with faster service + bigger food portion + less pricey menu if no changes made aboveMore

Ambience was nice but Foodies, red wine by glass, cocktail totally lousy. If you want to visit this Samira Asian Terrace, just come here for a beer, take some nice pictures but please don't waste your money on their Foodies. Pineapple Fried rice RM24 is like...butter fried rice without pineapple and put on a white plate not inside a pineapple. Seafood Tomyum clear soup was not hot, Squid with chilli & lime just OK, Green curry with duck was lousy. They missed out our order Papaya salad with soft shell crab and captain only found out when we pay our bill. Totally atrocious Thai fine dining experience at Samira Asian Terrace...I think these dishes were cooked by amateur chef... 11 July 2020 Our total bill for 3 person cost us RM212. 00More

Joined some friends for dinner. My expectations were low after reading online reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. 8 of us shared a number of dishes and drinks. Maybe not the best Thai food I have had (I lived in Thailand 3 years) but it...was still descent. Some good flavours and spiced just right. The waiting service with both the drinks and food could be improved. Drinks were slow to arrive and some were wrong all together. The ambiance is certainly note worthy with the beautiful ponds, greenery and birds. Sharing a few laughs with friends made it all worthwhile.More

I ate here because I was rehearsing and performing at KLPAC and there wasn't much time to go out. Fried rice was decent but the sago in coconut milk seemed to lack taste. The ambience was beautiful. The workers were mostly foreign and non -...communicative. They took a long time when we asked for something simple like chili. Overall ok but can be better.More

Dropped by Samira for lunch with a couple of friends. While the staff were friendly, they weren't exactly efficient (and as usual, it was just the few hired foreign workers attending to guests, without any supervision). I was formally trained in culinary art, and was...in the hospitality industry for more than 22 years. Nowadays, I spend an average of 30-35 days in Thailand each year, so I've had my fair share of good Thai food : our meal at Samira was rather disappointing and just a sad attempt at Thai cuisine. We ordered Mieng Kham, Roasted Duck Green Curry, Lime Squid, Stirfried Paku-Pakis and Tom Kha Goong, with white rice. The mieng kham has not bad (you can't go far wrong with this since the ingredients are not cooked) but the sauce was far from authentic. The roast duck green curry was barely warm, goopy and not appetizing, with very little duck meat; the squid was okay but could have been much better (and authentically Thai) with more punch and zest; the paku-pakis was gooey and the tom kha goong was a tepid, watery, tasteless shame. These, plus 2 portions of home-made coconut ice-cream (which had a nice flavour but the coconut cream had 'split' and it was full of icicles), 2 lemongrass juice and 3 coffee (which thankfully, were good) came up to more than MYR280. In a nutshell, I've had much better Thai food many times even in Malaysia, so this fairly pricey lunch at Samira was such a let-down. To be fair, this is only the second time I dined at Samira - and I can't remember the first visit being such a let-down. Hopefully, if there is to be a third time, Samira will redeem itself (in my eyes at least) as a good place to dine at in Kuala Lumpur...More

Yes, our food suppliers supply halal food. But we have a full bar as most restaurants do which serve alcohol and non alcohol beverages.
