Found this pub on the first night of our 3 night break in Kuala Lumpur. Enjoyed it so much we went again on all 3 nights of our stay. The welcome from the staff was phenomenal especially from Rajib and Paddy who always found time to chat and enquire about our day no matter how busy they were. The food was first class ( think good pub grub without any pretentions) and at a very good price, Able to sit outside which is also a bonus in the high/ humidity of the city. Great atmosphere and live sport shown for those that want it. If in Kuala Lumpur will return.

Coming from Ireland to Malaysia, it’s a bit of a change in culture and cuisine than what we were used to!
We were THRILLED to find there was an Irish bar so close to us and even MORE thrilled to find that it served all of our favorite foods and stocked all of our favorite beers and irish ciders for us to enjoy while we were there. There was the most delicious vegetarian option for myself to enjoy too, which is hard to come by here so I’ve come to find. Desert was also SUPER tasty!!
The staff were so very welcoming, always nearby to help with anything we needed, especially Miara, and we didn’t need or want for anything the whole evening. We even met the lovely Anna, who is the manager here, and she was so nice to us also.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a lovely evening with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Couldn’t fault it, one bit!

Went for a walk after spending the day at the nearby petronas tower and stumbled on an awesome Irish pub! Food and beers were 10/10, live sport on a heap of tvs and the service was absolutely phenomenal. Spent many hours here and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, especially Paddy and Rajib. Will definitely be coming back!

Our experience here was only positive. The atmosphere, value for money, cleanliness, quality of food and service were all five star. On every occasion we were welcomed warmly by the owner and members of staff. The restaurant is popular with Malaysians and foreign guests alike who enjoy the varied food which caters to all tastes. Service was swift and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Due to its popularity Healy Mac has a great vibe and this gives the place a real buzz. The chicken fajitas were delicious as was the Guinness steak pie served in its very own skillet. Both are recommended as was the banana and fudge ice cream. Our servers were super friendly and helpful whilst observing high standards of hygiene and appropriate behaviour. Particular thanks to Prity and Nasir who went the extra mile.

I eat the fish and chips and some garlic bread. The food was really good, after one month only rice I was more than happy about the food here.
I ordered a cocktail without knowing what exactly is inside. Unfortunately the drink was so spicy that I couldn't drink it. The waiter Nasir directly brought me a glass of water and Anna the manager was so friendly to not charge me for that drink.
I really appreciate the service!

Such a wonderful place to spent time with friends and family also. The nicest stuff I’ve ever met. Everyone spoke very good English, what is also very important for tourists. Paddy and Rajib are amazing people!! They helped us with everything: choosing very nice drinks(Palunar beer and HealyMac’s) , super delicious food (chicken wings were very delicious). And at the end they surprised us with the yummiest deserts. It was the best ending of our first day in Malaysia. Definitely would recommend everyone this Bar, I’m pretty sure everyone will enjoy it like we did!

Good choice! Our Paulaner is imported directly from Munich, Germany and is the freshest in town!

We have been coming to Healy Mac's for many years and have always been welcomed by the manager Anna who is very professional. The food is great and the service excellent. On this occasion we were looked after by Prity. Our meal was huge and as usual, very quick to arrive. We were also given a complimentary dessert which was lovely. Thank you Healy Mac. We will be back!

Came here for food and drink and have to say, it exceeded our expectations. The food is brilliant, the steak pie was fantastic! We really enjoyed all of our food, the service is also faultless, Nasir was a very attentive host. Plenty of screens for sport too which is a bonus. Best Irish bar I’ve been to abroad!

We have been visiting Healy Mac's since 2014, firstly with friends, and subsequently as a couple. The food and variety of menu is excellant, and what makes this place really special is the staff. Rajib, Tess and Gene were the ones we really got to know well on this last trip, making our visit so enjoyable. If you haven't visited this place yet, go there as there are no strangers here, just friends you have yet to meet.
We will be back next year.

My wife and I have visited and enjoyed the Heally Mac’s in Bangsar KL and Straits Quay in Penang. Really enjoyed both venue’s on many occasions. We visited the Jalan P Ramlee location yesterday evening ( February 14) and I honestly thought we had entered a totally different outlet. The friendly welcome from the Irish manager was sadly lacking as their wasn’t one. The Bangsar and Straits Quay outlets were a joy to enter. The Irish manager introduced himself and got our names and welcomed us by name every time we visited. He kept a close eye on the timely delivery and quality of the food and beverages being served. Sadly, the Jalan P Ramlee outlet has a Philippine manager who has no personality at all. She only appears when there is a problem. My wife had a problem last night after ordering noodles with chicken and prawns. The menu made no mention of the dish being spicy or having lots of chilies in it. My wife can not eat chilies and called the waiter to explain the problem and, he went to get the manager. My wife explained that the menu makes no mention of spice or chilies and she can’t eat them. She took the dish back to the kitchen and came back to ask if my wife would like to order something else. I was shocked that she didn’t apologies for the problem, not even once. She has no personality at all and gives the impression that, you the customer are the problem. We will not be visiting this outlet again and, we will have to consider whether we visit any other of Healy’s outlets. The Gravy Baby restaurants are usually close by and offer excellent food, service and ambience

The beers( Tiger and Heineken) was freaking awesome and we have a really good time. The waitress name Prity 🖤 was pretty helpful and the food is to crave for. We have salmon and chicken and it was really delicious and I would recommend it to everyone visiting or staying in malaysia to visit on daily possible if possible. ✌️

Healy Mac’s has it all … a huge, diverse food and drink menu, cocktails with a nice pour, lively music, a covered outdoor seating area to enjoy the fresh air while people watching, made-from-scratch meals, and excellent servers who seem so pleased to be there. Our server, Paddy, was the ultimate professional. I have a food allergy and felt safe trying foods I would otherwise be afraid to try in restaurants, as he fully earned our trust. Then when we returned the next day, he greeted us so warmly as if we were old friends. And the portions … just look at this pig knuckle and the Guinness Beef Stew! 😋 By far, this is the best food and service we have yet experienced in Kuala Lumpur.

We had a lovely evening at Healy Mac's. The food was delisicous and the portions were big. The whole restaurant had a lovely upbeat vide and they played great music. We had a delightful waitress called Alisha. She was very attentive, friendly and talkative. The manager specially changed the sport on the one tv so that we could watch a South Africa versus England cricket game. And to top it all off, they gave us a free dessert. I would highly recommend Healy for a lovely night out.

I love Healy Macs the Best bar in KL. We are enjoy great time in this bar. We eat the best pork Knuckle in the world and also mozzarella cheese stick and chicken strips. The best Kilkenny I had here in my life. Cocktails also very good here. All staff very friendly. Specially Alisha is the best.She is an asset of the bar.good bless alisha. They make us feel like home. Thank you so much. We will come again. And recommended for everyone.

My husband ordered a steak & I ordered a pizza with a side of sauerkraut. After 10 mins my pizza & sauerkraut turned up but no steak. When queried said steak takes 20 mins. Why couldn’t they have waited before cooking my pizza??? Prity kept fussing around, a real pain. Man waiter who took our order was lovely.
