Had anniversary celebration in this hidden gem in the quiet part of the city. Chef Kurt uses a nice blend of international and local fresh produces to create a modern Jap French fusion with a local twist. Nice sake selection to paid with. Shapan was...welcoming and attentive. Will visit again.More

We are so happy we celebrated my hubby's 60th birthday in Gesuto. We ordered the 5-course March menu and it was a lovely fine dining evening. Every dish was presented tastefully and simply delicious. They really go the extra mile to ensure we had a...memorable evening. Chef Mario surprised my hubby and presented the nice birthday dessert with a birthday song. Pure delight!! Thank you Chef Mario, Darwin and Kira for your attentiveness and a memorable gastronomic dining experience.More

We tried the set menu and opted for 4 courses at RM188 per pax. We were quite surprised by the generous amount and premium ingredients used. The set was perfect, made us full but not over filled. Definitely value for money and you get more...than what you pay for. The flavours were really new and exciting. The chef made genius combinations I haven’t tasted before but certainly made my palette happy. It’s Japanese fusion but really felt like a new way of savoring the Japanese cuisine. Everything was presented beautifully! Will definitely come back again as the set menu changes every month and we’re so excited to try every dish this place comes out with.More

This review is only for their WFH bento promotion during MCO. Very disappointed with their bento box lunches, the rice is very sticky and there is a fish meat in the picture, but the bento don’t have.

Gesuto which translates to guest in japanese featuring contemporary japanese fare. Combination of European and Japanese textures and flavors. Had the chef December tasting menu which was sumptuous. They truly live up to the name of welcome you as a guest in terms of service,...engagement and a great meal. The owner is a delightful gentleman who is bery engaging and hands on. V chic and cosy place, music tend to be a tad too loud. Will be back soon for their next tasting menu.More

Had my parents’ anniversary dinner here on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was about half full (so plenty of space between diners to maintain social distancing) We had the tasting menu for November, the sous vide short ribs was a highlight! Dean was the...server and made arrangements for the happy anniversary writing on the molten choc cake (also highly recommend this) which made my parents super happy. Food, service, cocktails, dessert, what more can you ask for! Overall, a great spot for unique food and would definitely come back! 💯😋More

Gesuto is definitely worth recommending after having dinner here yesterday with my family. All three of us had the October Tasting Menu and the three of us definitely enjoyed the food a lot. From the appetizer to the dessert, both presentation and taste was ....The tasting menu was definitely worth it and worth recommending. We also decided to order 2x sides to share and that didn’t disappoint as well. Would definitely love to return back to the restaurant and recommend the restaurant to friends and family.More

After 15 minutes in Gesuto we felt immersed in some restaurant in Western Europe - partly due to the engaging German manager and the shout-outs of the German cook, and the simple but cosy set up. The open kitchen and the super kitchen hood were...assuring. The The tasting menu, from appetiser through dessert, was best in class both in taste and presentation; the condiments were interesting and refreshing. We are already listing our friends to be treated at Gesuto.More

Food is just okay. Could be improved.... not all fusion things are ok. Even so, make sure it’s done right. The seafood pasta we had was overly salty. Wines were opened for too long too. Service for the night was ok though.More
