Celebrated the wife's birthday dinner here last week
I reserved a table with klcc view via tableapp,and called sabayon directly to confirm our booking.was then informed that one needs a minimum spend of RM 300 for a table by the window (klcc view),which was fine
We both had the 3-course degustation menu and a bottle of wine
Everything was very good
Service was great in the beginning as we were the 2nd couple in the room but as the room filled up,i had to pour our own wine....which is definite no-no if you want to call this fine dining
Price was above average (RM 900 incl a bottle of red wine)
Although the place was quite busy for a monday night,it was pretty quiet,which was nice.
The views were great and that's THE selling point of this place,i guess

Had a fantastic experience at Sabayon and the outdoor bar overlooking the kl landscape. Service was great with attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staffs, food quality at Sabayon was superb and surprisingly good value for a fine dining experience. Will definitely be back. Best to make bookings beforehand as Sabayon seems to be packed everyday of the week.

Great ambience, nice view, good company, genuinely delicious food and amazingly friendly staff. Staff are amazingly professional and attentive. Sweetest moment occured when the staff served my favourite espresso warm chocolate and asked if this is for my 18 years old birthday celebration. Awww💙

I was here with my husband to celebrate his birthday but it has ruined the mood with their service quality. They have failed to deliver my request of putting a simple Happy Birthday at the dessert plate & they were the one to confirmed on my request via call before the dinner. Furthermore, they simply put a paid receipt which does not belong to us at our table without saying a word. Worse was the lady with spec only greet “higher class” customers.

Lunch set menu 168 per person excellent, well worth it. Every course was introduced by staff. Bad experience just trying to get to Sabayon. Booking via table app 12noon, but took awhile to find someone to get us up to 51 floor as no one was at the counter. Lady who meet us at L1(above etoille) was pleasant and the only one to apologize for the frustrating experience on arrival. Had to call general line for someone to meet us just to get to Sabayon. It was a Bday celebration but upon arrival, hostess told balloons not allowed to be brought in(5 small balloons). Hostess was blunt. Not welcoming. Bought a cake at Etoille. Etoille Service great. FO Reception staff lady not welcoming at all (Just look blankly & pretend to want to help but didn't). Another FO male manager (probably) instead was very helpful. All in all review for EQ is “Meh”. Food wise a hit , service wise for a few of them a total miss. No bday song - ok acceptable. No plate given until we ask - not acceptable. There was a lady who went to great diners on our left and right, and introduce herself as she chatted a bit. But she didn't even great us.☹️ The welcoming feel is just not there.

We are indeed more particular about decorations and birthday songs at Sabayon as we need to keep our fine dining ambiance, especially for other guests. We are very sorry if you felt our hostess or manager was not welcoming. Our manager assisted with serving your food but perhaps you did not receive a proper introduction. This is not the kind of service are known for and we sincerely apologize for the poor experience you had. We have shared this with the team for immediate improvement and welcome you to come back again. We will strive to improve and wish you a great week ahead.

Celebrated my anniversary here and I was impressed with the hospitality, the view & of course the restaurant itself. The food was so good & it’s worth every penny that me and my husband spent here. I would recommend to take the table with a view Altho you have to spend min RM300 per pax but it’s worth it trust me. This restaurant is highly recommended if you wish to experience fine dining with your loved ones. I will definitely come back here again for any other occasion

On the 25th of April 2021, my family and I had dined in at Sabayon at EQ Kuala Lumpur. We were a group of 8 pax. To say the least, we enjoyed our time there as the food was great but service could improve.. The food were served a little slow and there were times where we had to ask the waiter to check on the orders, but it was understandable as there were lots of customers dining in at that time.. one thing to note while having the Rothschild Sunday Roast is that the lobster is only served 1 per person. Also one thing to take note, the last order for drinks are at 2:45pm and the last order for food are at 2:50pm. To summarise it, the whole experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend it as the views there are spectacular and it’s one thing u will definitely enjoy will having your delicious meals. Oh and before I end this short review, I highly recommend people to save their stomach for the beef, scallop and the lobster as they are my favourite dish there!

I went to sabayon to celebrate my fiance's birthday. It was our first time there. We love the warm hospitality by everyone there. Food was awesome. The highlights were the outdoor view. And staffs at sabayon was very helpful in arranging the surprise birthday dessert & tirelessly helped us taking our pictures. We'll definitely come back. Thank you sabayon for making my fiance's birthday dinner a memorable one

Went to Sabayon,EQ for a surprise birthday dinner arrange by my wife. The place itself looked so stunning and beautiful the first time we stepped into it. We were given a beautiful seat by the window peeking out at KLCC, four points Sheraton hotel and the beautiful city centre skyline. We ordered the vegetarian course meal and the black angus tenderloin together with a glass of pinot noir and sauvignon blanc wine. The food was really classy, delicious and in the right portion. We enjoyed it. The beef was cooked to perfection coupled with it’s delicious sauce, oxtail brioche and artisan carrots. The vegetarian meal was also prepared deliciously and quite different as we have never tasted vegetarian dishes in such way. It was like eating vegetarian that tasted so western and classy. Later on the surprise arrived which was the baked chocolate tart with a candle on it. The tart was baked beautifully and specially prepared by the chef. The chocolate was so delicious and not so sweet. Just the way we love it. After dinner we went to their outdoor bar for a wonderful photo shoot as one of the staff Mr Manoj took beautiful photographs of us.
I would like to extend of sincere thanks to Ms Farra for arranging this wonderful dinner and is very good and professional with her work. A big thank you to Mr Anas too for the great hospitality from Hi to Goodbye. Definitely a place worth going if you are a fan of great food, beautiful atmosphere and ambiance and a stunning view that you can never take your eyes off. We would pay another visit there soon for sure. Thanks Sabayon EQ for the memorable dinner. Good job. Kudos

Very average food, duck was hard, I had a problem cut it. Table in the middle of room overlooking on the wall and escape corridor. The best was chocolate praline at the end. Nothing special, no more! The quality of food doesn’t match the price.the request for a table With a view was not met even though was made in advance. Poor food and a very poor ambience in the restaurant

Christmas dinner at Sabayon in Equatorial hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Great place with an unbeatable view on the twin towers.
Dinner was prepaid (888 RM) and included a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.
The Canteloupe amuse was rather tasteless. Contrarily the lobster bisque and foie gras with apple and port reduction were excellent.
Dinner was Swiss inspired with raclette as a starter and veal with Rösti as a main course. As we live in Switzerland we know how the real thing should taste like. This was not it.
Great choice of wine - of course nothing decent under 100€. We settled on a Brunello which was an excellent choice.
Overall an average experience. We found it better last year.

I never give bad review to fine dining restaurant but this time.
Good environment but service needs improvement.
I swear this is the worst service I’ve met through out all the fine dining restaurants I went.
I wasn’t told that it’s necessary to get 2 sets meal course for window seats. Then we got sh*t service treat from the lady with spec after we told her that we only order 1 set course meal, I don’t enjoy the dinner with the service.
I wouldn’t recommend any of my friends visit.

We had a lovely wedding anniversary dinner at Sabayon and were blown away by the excellent food, outstanding service and attention to detail. To top it off we got a very kind gift: a picture card and a plate with a candle and two glasses of complimentary Champagne. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a very special evening with great food, service and amazing (Instagrammable) views!
