Ambience was great. The owner was friendly. But the service staff was below par; unfriendly. I thought the bakery products were good. Enjoyed that pretty much.

Stoped by on 23 August at 09:00 am to buy some bakeries as take away. Bought some square caramelised (and apparently filled) croissants , raisin rolls etc They were nice I noticed the flavours and very much adapted to the local taste , so expect...nice bakeries but not fully European style. Good brunch post hiking nearby. Great selection of freshly baked goods and well as made-to-order dishes. The mushroom soup here is great too. Good SOPs in place, table arranged quite a distance from each other.

It was my first time and it will be my last time too. I am not complaining about their food but their service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The staff did not even guide us to a table. No one was ensuring whether you...scan the QR code or take temperature at the entrance. Food scraps were all over the floor. The staff uses their hands to pick up cakes for customers instead of using tongs. I was so upset that I didn't bother to take pictures of the food.More

We really enjoyed our visit and choosing from the wonderful selection of food. Lovely breads and coffee. And well-priced too.

All is fine except the drinks coffees is expansive plus the parcking i think there should be an invoice or plate showing that it s a payable parcking. Also levain is not very pricey compared to other passeteries in kul.

I don’t normally write reviews, I usually just let it pass, but this time, I can’t. Levain is super overrated. Bad food, bad service! They overcooked the egg in the cast iron egg meal, which by the way doesn’t taste good. They charge RM1.00+ for...butter, which I don’t understand since they’re serving the meal with bread. Coffee was lukewarm - and not good-coffee-warm. Waitress was not pleasant, bordering on being a bit rude. Restaurant smelled weird. And to top it all off, we had to pay RM5.00 for parking, which was odd since the premise, I suppose, is owned by the restaurant and no one else parks there except for customers. Pasty takeaway (Kouign-amann) is not the best but at least it is decent and priced okay. Value for money is very low. I feel cheated. DO NOT EAT HERE! So many better breakfast place options in KL.More

Here’s our story: We each ordered Seafood Aglio-Olio Spaghetti, Carbonara Spaghetti and Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti respectively as our mains. The first two dishes checked all the criteria for an unsatisfying lunch. Not only did it lack flavour/taste, the quantity was so little. After finishing our...meals we were still hungry. Since the main course was not as expected and as mentioned above, we were hungry, we decided to have desserts. The array of dessert looked so salivating. So we ordered Pavlova Fruit Cake, Blueberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Truffle Cake each. The pavlova tasted and smelled like raw eggs.. Gross.. There was limited fruits on it as well.. The dessert was left on the table untouched after the initial bite Could not taste or see the cheesecake in the Blueberry cheesecake. As for the Blueberry.. well if not for the colour we would not have figured out that that was supposed to fit the “Blueberry” item on that dessert. Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti (totally devoid of meat) and Chocolate Truffle Cake were the only saving grace in our dining experience. Diners have to pay RM3.00 for parking / per entry Warm water is complimentary. Tranquil atmosphere.More

Average food that does not fit the price. we had the big breakfast, the croissant egg and HamCheese sandwich. The Ham cheese sandwich was under season and i had to add chilly source to finish it. The big breakfast was not consistent, we had 3...plates and one had watery scrambled eggs. Coffee was also small. Finally, they charge rm3 parking at their compound.More

Hi hi hi, again i found a hidden gem in kuala lumpur, if you want pastries better try levain , there is a indoor and outdoor tables and chairs.. their pastries that ive tried was all soooo good, i had ham croissant, chicken baguette and...eggtart,and blue berry cheese cake. they also serve main dishes like grilled lamb and pastas.. so i had my brunch today, my tummy feels empty to full tank! As well first time i tried a rose latter, imagine a hint of a rose in your coffee.. We are here again to check out the variety fresh bread and this round we try the cheesy pizza, highly recommended by our friends. It was superb! Crunchy pizza dough and top with cheese that simply melt inside my mouth. So yummy. So fresh just...out from oven. We had a great time dining in this awesome environment.More
