Impeecable dining experience

I availed myself with a dining mate for both Surf and Turf buffet on Wednesday (1/5) and breakfast the day after. This restaurant has extensive spread of delectable international cuisine that can whet any hunger pangs. For buffet dinner, I personally pick the stew beef and indian cuisine as well as the salad. Chef Hamizan prepared a special seafood dish for us. For breakfast, I love crispy fried chicken which was aromatic and egg benedict with extra asparagus. Chef Shafiq made it perfectly. This restaurant will not go wrong under the leadership of Mr Hanafi and Mr Faizul. A special mention to other great team members Mr Ridzuan and Ashnida and Asyika. Simply the best!

Hidden Gem T20 Buffet Great Price Stylish Place

We were shocked to find a buffet with quality ingredients at this price point with never seen before dishes (buffets in Klang Valley) right here. From beef wellington to short beef ribs, fresh seafood at every corner even for pasta and noodles. French desserts too. The service was so good in particularly Ridzwan and his team. Only downside was it was quite warm dining here, no Gula melaka for the cendol / ice-kacang section and no coffee or tea selection to enjoy our desserts with. Just black coffee and one choice of tea.

Lunch for two on a Tuesday afternoon. Never really tried their a la carte until recently only to know some hidden treasure. I had ordered a wild mushroom soup, a superfood salad, a wagyu burger and a 75day grain fed Angus steak. Amongst the food ordered, the salad was such a delight, the burger was so juicy and my steak absolutely blew me away. It had been a while since i had such a superb steak. Chef Mizan had done a great job. Drinks wise, I had ordered Illy latte which was aromatic. I was delighted to get good discounts being an Accor plus member. Notably, Mr Hanafi and his team such as Fahmi and Asnida were attentive and accommodating. All in, I had a great lunch and KweeZeen is my dining option for steaks again.

Horror Show for Christmas at Home delivery order

We ordered the Christmas at Home from Kwee Zeen on the 20th Dec 24 for our Christmas Eve dinner. The order was to be delivered to my residence at 4:30 pm (my dinner guest arrived at 7pm, we lived downtown) for a Roasted Black Angus Striploin, Roasted leg of lamb and a Roasted Stuffed chicken. I deliberately asked for an early delivery time as i suspected there would be delay but what happened really shine a light on how incompetent and poor the team from Sofitel has been. On the 24th Dec 24 morning itself, i called at 10am to confirm my delivery order and was told all was as planned. Then at 2 pm, Jenni (she took my order) called to say that my delivery fee was not included in the final invoice, so i make the payment for the delivery fee. Again i confirmed my delivery order for 4:30pm. All good they said. At 5 pm, when i still have not received my order, i called again and the lady (cant remember her name) told me that delivery has already left the hotel and there might be some traffic. At 5:45 pm, i called again and a Gentleman (cant remember her name) said my order is still being prepared in the kitchen. At this stage i was rather confused, has my order left the hotel or not? Why did the lady lied at 5 pm that my order has left the hotel. I asked them to provide me the tracking for the delivery. This was sent to me at 6:20 pm when it was collected for delivery. This was also at the worst peak time and we only received our food at 7:45 pm, 3 hrs 15 mins late from my initial request and after multiple confirmation and reminder earlier on the day itself. This was clearly an embarrassment for us as the host. I called up the hotel at 6:30pm to lodge a complaint and spoke to a lady manager (Hana or Fara?) as the GM has left for the day. It has been nearly a month and i have not even heard back from the hotel team on any explanation for the late delivery. Shame on you, if you cannot manage or have limited resources, please do not take in any orders.

My family and I really enjoyed the weekend buffet dinner at Kwee Zeen, on the occasion of my daughter’s birthday. The chilled seafood selection on ice, was really fresh and plentiful. The variety and quality of hot food available was also commendable and unique, of which we enjoyed tremendously. Where else can you find a Salmon Wellington, Peking duck in a pancake or a lovely Shawarma, offered at the buffet? Also, the level of service from the staff at Sofitel is truly praiseworthy. A special thank you to Mr Shahril, Ms Sakinah and the team at Kwee Zeen, for their excellent service and attentiveness. Mr Shahril, who took my reservation for the dinner, was so thoughtful to have arranged for a slice of cake and a birthday song to be sung by the live-musicians, to celebrate the occasion. It was a lovely and memorable evening and we look forward to coming back to the hotel again soon!

We thought Kwee Zene would be just another gourmet restaurant but to our surprise it is way beyond our expectations. The food was superb. The wagyu burger was a hearty meal & it was really a great bargain given the portion served. My wife really enjoyed their lamb rack that she managed to finished it all. The kids had the pasta of the day & to much of my surprise, they too leave nothing to waste. We would also like to pay our appreciation to Mr Yazed & crew for the warm hospitality shown throughout our visit. The ambiance & table setup does give us the cosiness & luxury of a home & a hotel all at once. They could improve on the menu selection though since the menu offered are quite limited. But overall, we are very satisfied with the food - the texture, the portion & the taste which we think one of the best so far Nevertheless, we would definitely come again.

Man of the match.

Buffet dinner at kwee zeen restaurant.was made thru online booking but upon reached the restaurant, my booking were not in their list, felt angry and very disappointed because brought over business partnerships to celebrate our journey after struggled over the year, however the manager of kwee zeen, Mr Elyas if i am not mistaken, had made my day back. He quickly noticed about our issue and address it really well.he even managed to arranged for us long table to dine together and the best part is he gave us sofa seat! I felt truly overwhelmed for his quick respond and also extra efforts from him although the restaurant was real busy and fully occupied. Despite being helpful he also anticipated our needs to celebrate the joy for my company dinner with some wines and beverages arrangements in his expertise.Sofitel hotel especially kwee zeen restaurant must hire more people who have exactly same personality, attitudes, committed and well experienced like this young man had shown to us for a better guest satisfactorily scores in future. Definitely will come again for the upcoming chinese new year season.

Best Hotel and Restaurant

Love this Pan Asian Dining Sofitel. Hat off to M.Hassan and the other one female staf (Sabahan or Borneo accent/no name tag). From the first breakfast day (c.in 3-5/3/2023 - room 1617), these 2 male and female staf very attentive and wonderfull, female staf very understanding of our need (we got 2 small child). Overall, we love this hotel.

Great service during the breakfast time.

I recently had the pleasure of having breakfast at Kwee Zeen, Sofitel Damansara in Kuala Lumpur, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Although the food choice was limited, the quality of the dishes more than made up for it. However, what really made the experience special was the exceptional service provided by these 2 gentlemen, particularly En. Hassan and En. Hanafe. They went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Their personal touch and warm service truly made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. The décor was elegant and modern, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant was also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The limited food choice is more than made up for by the quality of the dishes and the exceptional service provided by Hassan and Hanafe. I will definitely be returning to Kwee Zeen in the future!

Simply the best

This is our 4th visit, probably 14th day, of staying here in the past 1 year. We actually got married and had our reception here exactly 1 year ago, on my wife’s birthday. But on top of the memories, we keep on coming back because of the Sofitel experience. The ambience, the signature scent, the cloudlike bed, and of course the world class food. Nothing better to start your day than their breakfast buffet at Kwee Zeen. It’s such a pleasure to see that their crew actually recognise and deliver personalised touch to your meal. Eg. their Juice Master(what my wife and I call him because he can make my wife, who doesnt eat that much vegie fall in love with their beet root+apple+celery juice) M Hassan, would actually greet us and offer us the said juice every time he first sees us at the start of our breakfast. Much love given to us from Sofitel KL, and much love back to all of you.

An abundance of food selection available at their Deepavali Themed Seafood Extravaganza Buffet Dinner and all tasted great too! Top notch service too from all the restaurant staff especially their manager Siti who was very accommodating & helpful from start (booking reservation thru Whatsapp) to finish (end of our meal). Ambience was great too. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Amazing service!

One of the best places for breakfast and we had a good spread of Malaysian, Western, Chinese Food! There were also vegan options. M Hassan ensured that we got served really fresh juices and also checked in with us if we needed anything else during our four days stay in the hotel. A must-visit for those looking for some quiet from the city centre.

Kwee Zeen and their great staff

Kwee Zeen is one of my favourite breakfast spot as I stay in the hotel often. My family and I always feel welcome and well taken care of. Everyone at the restaurant from the Stewarding staff, servers and Chefs are all worth a mention here. Special thank you to Hanafi who will always greet me by my name and with a smile. Ridzuan (always forget how to spell his name) who will always remember to place 2 warm croissants with my latte. But for this visit I want to thank Shariful, Ashraful and Faisal for their endless display of great service even when the restaurant is chock a block busy.
