Taps Beer Bar is the only pure craft beer bar in Kuala Lumpur. We import beers from all over the world (USA, UK, Japan, Denmark, Belgium, Japan, Australia and New Zealand) on tap and in bottles. We have 14 different beers on tap and up to 60 bottles available! We also have bands playing on Thursdays to Saturdays from 9.30pm onwards. Come join us for a night of craft beer and live music... oh.. and pizzas!

Craft beers are not meant for everyone. I'm not a big fan of craft beers but my nephew insisted to bring me to this establishment while I was in town.
The variety of craft beers available was quite impressive. Service was above average and so was the food.
Decor is simple and inviting.
Craft beers aren't cheap so be prepared to fork out at least 3 times the amount for a glass of craft beer to a normal off the shelf type of lager or pilsner like Tiger, Carlsberg, Heineken or Anchor.
Left the place a wee bit lighter on the wallet but taste buds were satisfied. I will have to think twice about returning but for the craft beer drinkers out there it's highly recommended!

Love this place! Great craft beers, and the food is ok too. Live music over the weekend makes it complete.
Make sure you become members - they send you great deals which make the beers very affordable.

Our first visit here in Arkadia Kuala Lumpa , Impressed by there selection of craft beers. Food very tasty and staff very friendly and attentive to your needs. Also kids well settled here which helps a lot.

Came by here with a few friends after hearing they have craft beer...there is only soo much Tiger, Carlsberg and Heineken that a human can drink. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of craft beers both on tap and in bottles. Cost is between 30-40MYR per glass, but worth the price for the change of pace
Nice ambiance inside. It was a Thursday evening and they had live music which was a nice touch.
Will be back and highly recommend to anyone living or visiting KL

Excellent selection of beers from Asia and the US and a really extensive food menu as well. Friendly service and good Wifi too. Yes the beers are expensive but the selection is sure better than anywhere else I found.

A lovely place to enjoy lovely craft beer. A very cosy place to meet friends, drink good beers and decent food. They have a changing list of good international craft draft beers on offer, which says a lot as there aren’t many in KL. The staff are very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. A place I would recommend to friends and would visit again and again.

If you like craft beer, KL’s not the place for you. There are exceptions though and Taps Beer Bar is one. Plenty of taps with an eclectic range of Asian and US beers. Nice roomy place with TVs and a good snack menu. Not far from Jalan Alor and Bukit Bendang. Have a couple of decent beers before taking on the street food. Good takeaway selection as well.

The best place in KL for beer lovers.
More than 12 beers on tap and a large selection of bottle beer.
I discovered breweries from Vietnam and Japan enjoying their yummy beers.
Definitely will be back at Tap Beer Bar next time in KL.
Staff friendly and really professional.
Good food as well.

Great bar and amazing choice of draft and bottled/canned craft beers. Really good selection of small bites as well as meals to go with the beers. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Had a couple of beers here with a friend after dinner nearby. The space itself is not the most interesting, but the selection of beers is remarkable, including around a dozen beers on tap. A nicely curated selection. Seems to attract a good mix of locals and visitors. Would gladly come back.

Located underneath the Park Royal Serviced suites it is an outstanding venue if you like craft beers from around the world, although a little bit expensive, but where in the world are craft beer bars not a bit pricey ?
Daily specials---3 x 400ml Scottish origin pale ale only 65 Ringgit and tastes superb. The waitress that looked after us on both visits was really welcoming and pleasant. The food was terrific----mixed satay sticks with a cucumber and onion complement were to die for and the mixed garden salad was plentiful, crispy and a great selection of different ingredients---had to have the same on both visits it was that good. Has internal A/c seating or alfresco facing the street. I highly recommend this venue for the beers alone but put it with the food quality and it should not be missed.
WE will definitely be back next time in KL.

The only place in KL I found that does craft beer, such a nice change of pace from Heineken/Tiger everywhere else, the staff are very friendly and the vibe is no different from that of a craft beer bar in London, sports are shown and live music is on weekends, one of the only places that had me visiting more than once, 14 different taps means that there will be something for everyone’s taste, and if not there are multiple fridges full of different cans and bottles, they even have craft/artisan spirits for a change or pace, the food has a wide variety of choices, and while it’s not the main attraction, is definitely up to par with the rest of the bar, 10/10 could not recommend more, will remain one of the more memorable places of my trip

The staff here were incredibly helpful. The food was great - tasty and reasonably priced.
The music was most entertaining and non-intrusive - varied each of the three nights we have visited so far!
