The restaurant have cozy & eye catching decor. Wait staff was pleasant despite not understanding Nonya food in detail...Selection of Nonya food offered is great.. Ayam Pongteh, Ayam Buah Kluak etc..Tried Buah Kluak Fried rice..It was good.. The classic desert like cendol is also served which was nice too...Recommend for an Authentic taste of Nonya food. Prices are reasonable..

A new nyonya cuisine restaurant pop up in the new Glo Damansara, or might have been there but just pop up on my radar. The cuisine is Nyonya but with a modern twist.
The decor and style is fairly modern, but still offer a cozy environment that doesn't make the place feel very "chain-restaurant" like.
The food itself is fairly standard, which means consistently good across dishes so the favourites such as curry dishes are spectacular.

Prefer the new location with ample parking. Classy deco with nice ambience. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Love the sambal petai prawn, assam fish, pucuk paku. next trip must try the cincaluk sotong, stuffed sambal fish ...etc. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with friends no interruption from staffs. Highly recommend and will come back for more delicious nyonya food.

The food here is very mediocre only. The supposed to be spicy food is not spicy at all, most of the other dishes are more or less tasteless. Not worth coming...

A beautiful restaurant with classy decor. The waitstaff is friendly and very accommodating. The food stays true to its Nyonya roots, I studied for 3 years in Malacca and this experience made me miss my time there! My ultimate favorite out of all the dishes I've tried would be the Sweet Potato Leaves cooked with Sambal Keluak (I think!) I'm not a vege fan but I love it. Running close was the Sambal Udang Petai. LOVE the flavors. I went to this restaurant for my birthday with my inlaws so if it weren't for them I would've tried the reds =) Will probably come again to taste the other recommended dishes.

Friends recommended this restaurant and we're glad we came. Excellent authentic Nonya food, great ambience and friendly and professional service from Stephanie and team. A nice evening out. In the crowded foodie marketplace that is KL, this place is outstanding.

The restaurant ambience is nice and the staff is friendly but the shopping mall is not fully opened. The Chap Chye & the Nonya Chicken is quite nice so I will recommend it to give it a try if you drop by this restaurant.

Food is excellent. Authentic Nyonya food with very reasonable pricing. Great decor to the place that makes us want to return (family). My kids are picky eaters. However, they love the food there and will definitely return.

Kuala Lumpur is a spice eater’s delight. The Tranquerah is a quiet place at dinner. People dig in to their food. The bare tables have paper place mats, spoons and forks and an oil lamp that smokelessly dispatches bugs and manages not to get in the way of flavour. The dining room is orange and yellow with nice display of cushions. The decorations are fairly interesting, an old scale, jars of preserved foods, old tins, kuih moulds and macramé. There are a few pieces of old furniture that are exquisitely preserved. Try the kerabu bendi. It is steamed bendi, or okra if you wish. They make it so well that whether the dish sounds good or not, you should try it. You will almost certainly like it. The restaurant is Peranakan and Pork Free, and generally halal. However, the world of KL is different from the world of Baghdad or Sydney, so check out the ingredients with the hosts.

I have been coming to this place now and then and even written a positive review some time ago. Last week, we were there. The place was not full but there were a few big groups and the guy taking the order had his hands full. He took our order, some cutlery and water were were given but no appetizer. Nothing happened for 45 minutes. We asked for the bill, no response from the giggling ladies. We walked out.

Dear Kimandkhor
Thank you for your continuos support towards our restaurant and your feedback regarding our shortcomings. We are certainly very sorry to hear about your experience with us during your recent visit and rest assured, this is not the standard of service we strive to provide our customers.
On the day you visited us, we had 2 big groups apart from our usual crowd, unfortunately all the tables placed their orders almost at the same time. Your table was in the 5th queue and those 2 big tables were ahead of yours. One of the big tables had 21 pax and they ordered a total of 12 dishes of 4 servings each and that adds up to 48 dishes to prepare for just one table.
The other bigger table had 12 pax and ordered 6 dishes of 2 portions each and that is 24 dishes. So all in all our kitchen had to prepare 72 dishes for just 2 tables. In a normal circumstances, one table would order around 4 dishes, in this case we are actually preparing dishes for almost 18 tables, plus 3 more tables ahead of yours thus caused the delay.
We are very sorry and we acknowledge the fact that the delay was cause unintentionally by us, and we agree with you that our employees could have served you with some appetisers. We will certainly look into our service operations immediately. We appreciate your honest feedback as this will assists us in achieving our aim of consistently providing our customers a pleasant dining experience.
Once again our heartfelt apologies for the shortcomings that occurred during your recent visit, and we sincerely hope that you will give us a second chance to serve you better.

Ambience gives off a feeling of a trip down memory lane with memorabilias from the 60s to the 80's. Food was good...typical nyonya food. There was good wine recommended to go with the food. It was an enjoyable experience.

Loving the authentic Nyonya cuisine so much! Friendly waiter and best of all, the decor reminds me so much of Malacca! Would definitely recommend this outlet!

Food is reasonably good, fair to say we orderedonly a sampling - the veggie with keluak, mango kerabu, the lada fish (so-so), the chinchaluk platter of prawns, squid and chicken (1 of the chicken pieces was undercooked-a no no in restaurant) but we liked the desert more, the sago in palm sugar and chendol

Full of grouchy grouchy foreign waitresses who clear your table without asking you. We went out to take a group photo and the whole long table was cleared by the time we got back; it was so obvious we hadn't finished!
Food-wise, the Pie-Tee was very nice indeed, but the Chicken Buah Keluak and Sambal Aubergine were just so unbelievably awful. Their specialty Pink Kebaya drink was fusion at its worst: I think the baju wasn't washed for days!
Very expensive to boot. VERY expensive!
