Great view from the restaurant across KL. Food was very good. We ate a mix of dishes and all were tasty. Staff were attentive. The thing that let it down was the lack of available beer despite being on the menu. There was no draught...beer and the only bottled lager was Heineken. Disappointing it would’ve scored at least 4 based on the food alone.More

My friends and I revisited Fuego last week. Overall I think the food quality was so-so, as compared to my previous visit. The beef rib was still the winner with its juicy tender beef. And of course its super spicy guacamole. For the The Malabar...Fish stew, they forgot to include the Brazilian rice as stated in the menu. Other sides like Spinach Hash brown and Portobello Mushroom were ok. Their must-order Fuego churros has also degraded in terms of its quality, a bit too sweet for my liking. Their service was excellent and the waiters were all attentive.More

My girlfriends and I had dinner at Fuego to celebrate our doctoral degree journey on the 1st of October 2021. We were placed at a prime table with great view of the KLCC. However, it started to rain halfway through our meal. Our waiter, Ovi...was quick at responding and moved us out out the rain. And when the rain stopped he offered to move us back to our original table. Ovi was also super attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about the dishes. We loved all his recommendations especially the churros! Would definitely come again. Thumbs up for the good service (thanks Ovi!) and the amazing food. Sincerely, Dr. Alia Daniella.More

5 years ago, I had a great experience at Fuego. I decided to return after the lockdowns were lifted. The view was still great (the reason we went) but the decor had changed to something cheapish. The menu had very interesting items, most were very...tasty but ALL were oversalted which ruined the experience. We paid 450RM+ for one main dish, 6 appetizers and 2 bottles of water. At this price I would expect the food to be excellent and NOT OVERSALTED. I am sorry to say that I will not be going back to Fuego anytime soon. This is definitely not the place for anyone with high blood pressure!!More

Had dinner at 6.30pm in order to watch the city skyline at sun set and at night. The KLCC view didn't disappoint although too many buildings seem to be squashed in the vicinity. The restaurant decor was very basic and looking a bit run down....We brushed that aside hoping to enjoy the food. We were rather disappointed. Although the Fuego Guacamole was good, the rest of the dishes we ordered was only so so.More

The view from outdoor deck is amazing. The food is good, especially guacamole. Since the restaurant claims to be a sophisticated place, more appropriate dress code enforcement would be highly recommended.

We booked this place basis the TA reviews for one of the best restaurants in KL with a view. But, more than the view we enjoyed the food! This was our Diwali family dinner which we do every year. It did not disappoint at all....The reservation process was effortless. Go to their website and do an online reservation and you are done. On the day of the reservation, expect a confirmation call from their side. Currently due to partial lockdown due to COVID-19 they are following a system of 2 shifts for dinner. One 6-8 pm and the other 8-10 pm. 10 pm they have to shut as per govt regulations during the partial lockdown. We opted for the 8-10 pm slot. We reached exactly at 8 pm and were courteously made to wait at the lobby for 10 minutes. They even offered us drinks during the wait which meant they were very conscious about it. The wait was for them to get the table ready for the next slot. We were then led to our reserved table. We had asked for a table next to the glass railing overlooking the lovely view of the KL skyline including the Petronas Towers. And our wish was fulfilled. We noticed that they moved one group from our table to another table inside to make the one next to the glass railing available. So, kudos to them on fulfilling our request. Now for the ambiance and the view. The ambiance is pretty ordinary. I thought they can make it a little better. It is just like a big balcony being converted to a restaurant by putting few tables and chairs. Even the bar is not that impressive. The lighting is a bit dim and you struggle to see the menu and the food which is laid on the table. They have an open kitchen which confuses you as if a buffet option is available here. Now for the view. Well plain and simple there are many restaurants, sky bars which have a better view than this place. The fact that it is in the top 10 restaurant with best view on TA, I think is overrated. You get to see the Petronas Towers but only 1 tower as the other one is covered by the dark and tall Four Seasons Hotel building. The restaurant is located on Tower B of Trioka Building in the CBD of KL. It is one of the restaurants on offer amongst the Trioka Sky Dining set of restaurants which are housed on the 23A floor. The restaurant is non air-conditioned. We were lucky because the weather was cool and rainy and fantastic to enjoy this place. But, on a hot day or night, it could get a little sticky. They have table fans put on the floor to give a bit of a cool breeze to your feet. But, everything else is silenced by the awesome food. The food takes you by surprise because you actually chose this place for the ambiance or the view. But, the food is a delightful surprise. We are a family of 4 (two daughters 10 years and 18 years of age). We started with the drinks. Red Sangria, Fuego Whiskey Sour, Green Machine (mocktail) and lemonade. The Whiskey Sour was awesome. But, the Red Sangria was not. While the taste was good, but they loaded it with ice and therefore in a short time, the taste got completely diluted. For 2nd rounds, we ordered beer and glass of house wine. Then moving on to the starters. We ordered Cheese Churros and Prawn Guacamole. The Prawn Guacamole was a super hit. So good. Even the Cheese Churros were nice and crisp with a lovely sauce mix. We then moved on to the main course. We ordered Beef Croquettes, Lamb Ribs and Chicken Taco for our youngest daughter. It was nice they gave a finger bowl with the chicken taco! But, what took the cake was the lamb ribs. They were just out of the world. Please try this out. One of the best lambs we had anywhere. The beef croquettes were average. We then moved on the dessert. We ordered a Berry Pavlova. Oh my god. They did a stunt of burning the brandy and pouring the flaming alcohol on the dessert and then further torching the dessert. And it was mind blowing. We finished it in 5 minutes flat. And that summed up our very enjoyable dinner. All of us enjoyed a lot and will remember the place for its food. You can get a glimpse of our bill with the attached photograph of the same. We were served by the very able Bangladeshi Mr. Abhi. Since we are Bengalis from India, we were able to easily converse with him in Bangla language. So, he took extra care for us. And he advised us on the portions very well. Recommended the dishes too. Lastly, he obliged us by taking many photographs of us against the beautiful KL skyline. He had a great role to play for our enjoyable dinner. With all this we ran up a bill of RM 604.35. Yes, on the higher side. But, it is worth it as we enjoyed the food very much. And we felt the quantity was good considering we had the dinner over almost 1.5 hours. So, I would say very worth it for the food. Little bit of lacking on the interiors. And the view not excellent but decent. But the overall experience including the reservation process and the service by Mr. Abhi made it special for us. We would definitely like to come back here again with our friends. Mr. Abhi also registered us as a member. The same night we got a mail saying thank you for a visit accompanied by a survey. Wow! Pretty neat and organized I must say. Yes, gave a very good feedback. Our Diwali dinner was a huge success.More
