Was my favorite, now everything taste differently, the presentation still appealing but, sadly not flavoursome.

Came looking for a different seafood restaurant as recommended by Lonely Planet, but diverted to Suraya because it looked clean & lively. Ordered whole fish with soy/ginger sauce and thai prawn salad. Both very tasty at a good price (45RM). Will return again when in...the area.More

this place offers the best Thai food. However, the crowd can be a lil bit intimidating and most of the time you will be bugged with beggars selling stuffs and they are being a bit pushy, wont move until you pass them some money, that...is annoying but again it is beyond the restaurant owner’s control. So, be wise and vigilant to tackle this. Food wise, the best in Kg Baru.More

This restaurant is crowded almost every night because the food is good and reasonably priced. Try to avoid coming during the weekend. Only opened for dinner from 6pm onwards. There's a parking behind the restaurant but you need to pay a bit.very small sum. The...food offered here are mainly Thai origin food. The tom yam, kerabu maggi, Som tam ,chicken feet kerabu and intestine soup are my favourites. The oxtail soup is another favourite because it is very tender and tasty. There are fish dishes as well. My favourite is Steamed siakap with lime sauce. Try their manggo stcky rice for dessert. For those who want to try porridge, theres a lot of side dishes that can go with it. Recommended. Dress casually. it can be quiet humid.More

Excellent place to mingle with the locals! However if you’re a “picky person” that likes to complain about everything! And expect other countries what you have in your own... then don’t come here! Delicious food! Friendly Staff! And very cheap! Highly recommend!!

Visited the restaurant during dinner time around 8.00 pm, it’s quite crowded. However, the service is quite fast with waiting time for food is less than 10 minutes. Variety of food to be chosen from, and the taste is quite good above average.

This restaurant is famous for the fish dishes and the small shells that they put on the BBQ. I have to say that they tasted good. But so was the fish with a delicious spicy sauce. The vegetables are to die for and it is...a feast of flavors that I won't soon forget. It is always very crowded during rush hours so you better come earlier or later. It was an adventure to have been here. The prices are very low.More
