Tamarind Springs exude a rustic yet luxurious charm. The lighting was subdued and given the whole restaurant a very cosy and charming feel. Some tables were given a special romantic setting for couples. The food was tastry, cooked with an unusual twist in its flavour. The bar tender came over to introduced some drinks concocted by himself and they were good drinks. Service was great. Attentive yet not overly. This is a great place for quiet romantic dinners as well as dinner parties for special occasions.

Our first visit was by chance. We loved the rainforest setting and ambiance. The bar Tender was knowledgeable about exquisite cocktails, and we were pleasantly surprised by the cocktails he prepared for us, Delicious!
We ordered bar food, which was specially prepared and incredibly delectable.
I would love to go there again for a special occasion. Excellent service and gorgeous location. One of a kind in KL

This is an absolutely beautiful open air restaurant, close to the city centre but it feels miles away. Come in the evening and dine by candelight with jungle and the sounds of happy frogs all around you! Unfortunately, the food (okay but forgettable & very overpriced) and service (poor) doesn't match the surroundings. A real shame as this has the potential to be an absolute gem in the KL dining scene.

Very disappointed to advise that this lovely location with attentive staff no longer has a liquor licence but beverage menu (several pages of cocktails/liquor, but no wine list) awaits your perusal and only after booking, being seated and arriving for a much awaited special occasion are you advised they no longer have a licence to serve alcohol. We did order a first course (Tamarind special platter) and this was barely edible (stale). Things will need to improve quickly to preserve the reputation of this lovely icon restaurant and superb location and loyal staff. Good luck

Birthday Dinner!!
A party of 18, Kris, the deputy manager was amazing and looked after us through the night.
Good food, great cocktails, amazing setting.... He made sure all our dietary requirements were met, and he was extremely attentive.
They did not disappoint.... we had a night to remember, and everyone thought it was brilliant!!

I went there with my husband for Valentine's day this year. The ambience was nice. What disappointed me was the main course. Up till then the appetizer, soup and drinks were good. The main course however was a total turnoff. It consist of lamb chops, mushroom, lobster and fish. The lobster was nothing to shout about. It was lumpy and my husband didn't even touch his. The fish was a bit dry for liking and the mushrooms were too wet with no taste whatsoever. 600+ for that was not worth it at all. Yes prices are hiked up during Valentine's day and so on, but I've had better meals for that price. We did enjoy the surrounding tho, a good place to just talk and focus on each other.

I paid for the experience online and went to the hot spring to enjoy myself. The facility is nice but be aware of all the mosquitoes. When we ended our experience they asked for my credit card again. Saying that we needed to pay. I told them I've already paid online. They said that the payment was just a hold and they needed to document my credit card in case our payments skipped. They reassured me that the refund would be processed. here I am 5 months later and I still did not receive the refund. Do not go here if you want to get scammed for your money.

Just had the CNY set menu for three of us and it was pretty poor. There was a fried duck dish which seemed to have been refried to such an extent that one could no longer discern what type of meet it was. The fried noodles lacked flavour. The texture was mushy. The Kaplan was too salty and the steamed fish could easily have been missed. Overall, given the reputation that Samadhi would like to promote, the Tamarind Spring was a real disappointment this evening.

Second time to visit Tamarind Springs. First time during the pandemic.
With interstate travel banned, I needed to mark the end of school holidays with a city escape that has some semblance of a nature-focused holiday.
We headed to the Kelab Ehrul Dehsan Golf & Country Club for the afternoon and capped our short ‘holiday’ with a sumptuous meal.
Jay’s recommendations were excellent. Surely, the menu choices were all fantastic despite being narrowed down due to the COVID19 uncertainty for really good establishments that is carful to not erode quality.
There is no kids menu but thankfully the grilled prawns and the lamb chops (all sauces on the side) were to the liking of the 5 hungry kids with us.
The grown-ups feasted on the green chicken curry, the deep fried fish, the hors d’œuvres platter with four assorted appetisers. And... we did not miss not having alcohol. The beverages and dessert were refreshing too.
I will always want to escape and enjoy the ambiance of this Indochine-inspired restaurant.

Well curated menu of unusual tasty foods. Had lunch, which lasted about three hours enjoying about ten small courses and more. Delicious. Older staff happily explained the foods and the best way to sequence the feast for maximum impact on culinary palates. Visited this place about twenty years ago and was very impressed then; even impressed more during my recent visit. A place in KL not to be missed!

Away from the hustles of the city, this serene place offers southeast Asian cuisines, especially that of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Fresh ingredients, spacious seating arrangements all the in middle of a forest like atmosphere. Decent food and great atmosphere.

Good and amazing Ambience but really below average food. I would say the Catch of the Day claimed to be a daily catch but the freshness was nowhere near a days catch. Really sorry I doubt I would recommend nor return for another meal here.

I've visited here a couple of times and the restaurant does struggle when busy. Staff seem lost so the service falls off quickly, food quality drops, drinks are forgotten and the overall experience ends up being very average. Seems to over promise and under deliver

This spot is in amazing setting and takes you outside the city of KL. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing - we chose the 8 dish degustation. Every plate was incredible and allowed us to experience the many spices and herbs that go into each dish. It was an incredible evening and I would highly recommend.

Maybe we didn't see this restaurant at its best, as we were part of a large group having dinner there. The ambience as you walk in, in the evening, is great and the Balinese construction really enticing. The food was fine, but was slow in coming, and there just weren't enough servers to keep our party happy. May be a different experience if you were coming in ones or twos. On this showing, couldn't recommend it.
