Sunday night Thai treat....

Sunday night Thai treat....stopped in for first time surprisingly at 7pm a few tables filled. Wine was great, starters of prawns superb and the dancing fish sea bass dee fried but filleted well, while the sizzling fish super tasty. Great service by everyone but especially Kenny. Give it a try...

Nice ambience, good food heightened by great service

Arriving at an unassuming bungalow frontage, we walked into a sprawling and nicely designed entrance that opened up into the restaurant. Very nice start as we were guided to our reserved table. The good experience improved further from there on. Positives 1. Restaurant design and setting does bring you into a Thai higher end restaurant. Nicely done and looks well maintained. 2. We orders Rama 1 and Rama 4 sets for our 8 adults and 4 kids group and serving portions were generous to feed us all satisfactorily. Importantly each dish has its own pronounced flavour that can proudly stand on its own without another overpowering it. 3. The attentiveness and the proactiveness of the staff are from the rare era of great service without hinting and carried out seamlessly. On this I would praise the owner and manager for hiring and training well. This was mainly from the staff attending to us and hopefully standard level across all. Well done. 4. It was my mothers birthday and the restaurant had a very joyous singing crew accompanying the cake. Another big thumbs up from us. Negatives 1. None Safety SOPs are practised, restaurant is good size and well ventilated, and you will need to valet park(RM5) due to the small parking compound. Recommended restaurant.

Decor and service are good,

Decor and service are good, drinks from the bar take some time, the order in which food comes out could be better. The food overall is good, just not that flavourful or spicy which you hope for when getting Thai food. 3 or 4 stars. I would go back, but will try a different place for Thai instead next time

Family of 6, not allowed to dine togather

On1st December at about 6.15pm, we arrived for a much anticipated birthday dinner for family of six for my son 's 15th year birthday . Prior reservation was done, with two tables with three pertable. When we reached the restaurant, saw the restaurant was empty. And we asked if the waiter can combine tables for 6 of us with still following the SOP by sitting 1 meter apart. The waiter politely explained that he cannot combine tables. Upon asking for the manager, who did not approach us or gave any alternative. Being from the same industry, I absolutely understand and appreciate the SOPs being followed. However, with such ample space, the manager could have made the decision to allow six of us in one long table. She neither apologised nor gave a solution. We were very disappointed and left for another restaurant nearby. That restaurant warmly welcomed us and accommodated our request. The bill was about rm500+, which Rama V lost in such a challenging time. In addition, this was our 3rd visit this year. I hope when business comes knocking, you should not reject but think out of the box without compromising the government set SOPs.

Delicious food with excellent service.

We had lunch here for five people. The restaurant has a lovely decor. Service was very good indeed. We had several dishes, including fish cakes, Seafood Tom Yam soup, several different fish dishes, chicken curry and vegetables and, to finish with, mango and sticky rice pudding. The dishes were all very tasty. The Tom Yam soup was rather salty though.

Over Rated Restaurant

Apart from the deco, the restaurant management obviously do not understand the concept of fine dining. Pricey, cheap looking dishes that Chef didn't put in the effort to enhance the appearance and taste. Service is outstandingly slow! The table ware set up doesn't even fit the concept of fine dining. I suggest the owners recruit real experience Management if they want to declare fine dining. If you want to spend some money and try, go ahead but will be your last trip there.

Very very bad service

I called up in December to enquire about some food that I would like to order for a party. Firstly, it was near impossible to get hold of anyone and when I finally did, turn around respond time is slower than stone age. The whole time, the response was very bad. either they keep getting the item wrong, quantity wrong, and it was such an unpleasant experience. As my event day drew near, I finally ditch this place and went to look for another place. What a nightmare! The audacity to keep saying they are busy with wedding!! Anyway, initially I thought of hosting my boss's birthday at this place but now I have decided not to and will not recommend this place at all! Mega Disappointment!!

Great Ambiance and food!

Great staff, meal and a beautiful setup. The place is reasonably priced for the fine-dine experience. Staff was following proper SOP for social distancing and was very attentive to the table. Could not sit out, but had a great time.

Nice ambience for special occasions

We've visited this restaurant several times over the years, and the food has remained consistently good. We recently had a birthday dinner here and had a wonderful time. The ambience is what sets it apart, it offers a lovely garden setting within a private bungalow, great for family gatherings and private events. Pricing is fairly reasonable too. Quite popular for events, so do book ahead.

Hmmm?? On the fence

Have been here a few times before for evening meals, over the past several years and have some mixed feelings about the place. Sometimes its spot on and everything is perfect and other times its "nyaaaaah!" Out latest visit was a negative. This was just last week (last week of Dec 2020). We double check everything nowadays as to who is open, as you never know who is surviving in the current economy. Did FB (which is the preferred medium for Malaysia) and yes they were open. Yaaay. Walked along to the restaurant (staying nearby) only to find they are closed for a private function! Would have been useful to have this on FB guys....

Exceptional!

Visited this restaurant for the second time simply because we had such a great experience during our first visit. And again, it was exceptional. The interiors were lovely, staff always pleasant and food was so good! Really enjoyed the tasty food - from the appetisers, to the mains and the desserts.

Beautiful, quiet and clean restaurant. Good ambiance. Good customer service. Tasty and delicious authentic Thai cuisine. Reasonable price. Recommend to do booking before coming since the place is always fully booked.

Little Gem

Great atmosphere in the restaurant. As soon as we sat down we appreciated the general ambience of the room. Great buzz around and not too stuffy. Food menu selection was excellent as was the wine on offer. Quality of food on arrival brilliant, service also great. Can’t believe it’s only 100m from our apartment……and we’ve missed it after two years, we’ll be back again (v soon) Thanks

Best thai

Hands down the best thai restaurant in KL with so many options for vegetarians too. I have tried almost all their vegetarian and chicken dishes and the desserts as well.. everything is super tasty. Its always in my list for celebrating special occassions and highly recommended.
