Located in a row of stalls called Nan Corner on Jalan Kerja Ayer Lama (approximately 15 minutes by car from KL City Centre), this stall is the second last stall from the end of the row. Expect a really basic experience with under cover seating...and a limited range of dishes. As the name suggests, Nasi Lemak tends to be the staple here although I've noticed the addition of Ikan asam pedas (fish in a sour tomato based sauce) and ikan lemak cili padi (fish in a spicy coconut based curry) to the menu. The main accompaniment to the Nasi Lemak that tends to be popular here is the sambal squid and also the chicken dishes (rendang and fried). It's nothing fancy but I enjoy the odd visits here on a Sunday afternoon as a treat.More

I was totally cheated and disappointed with what was served in the name of NASI LEMAK. The rice was plain white rice and not the usual rice cooked with santan. And what makes it even more disappointing is that i asked the waiter if the...rice was nasi lemak she lied saying yes. Nasi lemak isn't nasi lemak unless the rice is cooked with santan. I hope the operator of the restaurant will not resort to cheat customers again. Be careful if you want to visit NASI LEMAK BOSS in ampang again.More

This "nasi lemak cikgu" used to be located at SS5 nearby some years ago. The "cikgu" (teacher), whom the dish is named after, has since passed away, and the business have relocated here about 3 years ago, under a new management. The place has a...cozy and casual atmosphere, and there is music constantly being played in the background. Apart from the nasi lemak, they also have a number of pre-cooked dishes for customers to add on. Since I came here specifically for the nasi lemak, I ordered the "nasi lemak with fried chicken". I like it that the rice was piping hot, and the fried chicken was still hot (not cold). Also, the fried anchovies and peanuts were fresh and crunchy. The sambal came in a separate small bowl - however, I find it a little watery and not spicy enough. My meal of nasi lemak with fried chicken and teh tarik came to RM9.20. The nasi lemak alone was RM7.50 - a bit pricey, but the chicken portion is decent. This place opens from 7am to 3am daily. I happened to talk to the manager (Abdul Aziz aka Chief Keegan), who informed that they also operate Azza Food Paradise, the shop directly opposite. As such, food that are being ordered are either prepared here or at Azza. My recommendation - try the nasi lemak with the fried chicken.More

I'm a regular here. For MYR4, you can get a plate of nasi lemak with either 1pc chicken, beef, or squid. That is cheap. The setting is sort of like an expanded hawker style so the rating is purely based on food quality, taste and...price. It's really delicious and a good intro to local Malay food, be warned it's spicy.More

"Boss" started as a hawker about 2 decades ago, serving nasi lemak with choices of chicken beef squids and cockles at the front of a stall. he basically still offers the same. Maintains the same standards over the years. He has expanded to take over...a whole stall of this hawker center along Jalan Kerja Air Lama, Ampang Jaya. he now provides drinks as well. Prices have doubled over time, but can still be considered reasonable. As it is only an expanded hawker stall, do not expect 5 star service or decor!More

I have been patronizing the place for over 20 years, if I remember correctly. Never fails to whet my appetite for more.

One of the recommended nasi lemak. Real homely style. I've been visiting this place for more than 10 years. Also, my mum's favourite nasi lemak.
