Overall experience is good, my 1st experience having french food, service was good. Some improvements are required. 1. Environment is a slightly hot for me and they are setting up fans for that, not sure if their aircond is functioning well. Lighting is too dim lead to difficulties is taking nice picture. 2. On food quality, my grilled seabass was served with a bone in it which i think it is unacceptable.

This place is beautiful! Every bit of its decoration was deliciously creative. Gives u a feeling of Paris for sure!. Its a nice 5 star restaurant that offers great choices of courses but the thing that really struck me was the mushrooms. It was simp!y mouth watering

celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary with my wife & 2 daughters... the decorations is classic & a vast contrast before entering the restaurant as we parked our car behind the alley (very limited parking in front next to bsn bank) with stinky rubbish bins, cockroaches & rats running around but it's brightly lit... the restaurant is abit small so seating will feel cramp as it's very near to next table... food was good (we ordered mushroom soup, baked chicken with morels, king prawn spaghetti, sea bass fillet, icre cream, chocolate cake with wordings of 10th wedding anniversary) as so was the presentations albeit price is very premium! staffs are polite & courteous all round... had a good experience & meal with my wife & 2 daughters asking tonnes of questions regarding the restaurant...

No one comes to Kuala Lumpur to have amazing French food, so one must keep their expectations realistic. However, this place was quite good. It is very classic - they don't stray much from tradition (although we couldn't try everything on the menu). The staff was very attentive, but they hovered a bit too much for most westerners' taste. The food was quite good for being in Malaysia, but the seafood risotto was disappointing. It was very good, but not risotto at all - it was more like rice pilaf meets paella. They didn't use glutinous rice. Don't call it risotto and it will be 5 stars.

We visited this restaurant in last year for my friends birthday celebration. The decoration and atmosphere itself very nice and it feels luxurious. But to be honest the seating arrangement us a bit pack and the restaurant were small not as I've imagined in the pictures I had googled before we going there. The food were good bit the price were a bit pricey. So far it's highly recommended for small event space and for food lovers.

LOCATION: They weren’t kidding when they said ‘tucked away’ in a quiet corner of Jalan Maharajalela. You can easily WAZE here but your landmark would be MUN WAH HOKKIEN MEE RESTAURANT. At first, my partner and I was a bit skeptic of the location seeing that there were a number of odd characters lingering around the area but it got better when we arrived at Café Café. Relatively safe, but still stay alert and be careful with your bags ladies. AMBIANCE: When you enter Café Café, you immediately immerse in its contemporary Parisian chic and traditional French grandeur. I must say, its interior is on-point and highly suitable for romantic dinners. Although, I did wish the lighting here was a little brighter, especially in the toilet — having a dark lit toilet isn’t such a good idea – so to the owners, please keep your toilets brightly lit since it wouldn’t affect the main dining area. FOOD: One word, AMAZING. I loved everything we ordered that night. Portobello Mushroom – Baked portobello mushroom | Spinach | Ricotta cheese – 3/5 Fine de Claire – Wild French oyster | Sweet and spicy tomato salsa – 5/5 Grass Fed Beef Tenderloin - Tenderloin | Potato gratin | Wasabi dressing – 5/5 King Salmon Fillet – Salmon fillet | Sundried tomato pesto | Sauté potato – 4/5 Vanilla Crème Brulee – 3/5 Classic Tiramisu – 3/5 SERVICE: As with any fine dining restaurants, we were well taken care of for the night. Thank you for the great service! PRICE: $$$$, I recommend dining at Café Café on special occasions. VERDICT: It was a pleasant experience for my partner and I, and we really enjoyed our meal at Café Café. We do recommend you try this place out for yourself.

Given the pricing, was rather disappointed with the quality and standard of the food served. For appetizers, we ordered the Hokkaido scallops (3 measly pieces) and the Crispy Brie with Crushed Hazelnuts. The latter was good but the scallops were tough and rubbery. For the Mains, we ordered the Duck Confit and the King Salmon Fillet. The confit was dry and tough, and the skin wasn't crispy. The salmon was so-so. Tasted better. For dessert, we ordered the Creme Brulee, which came out burnt and the Cheese Platter (the most expensive dessert on the menu) was nothing great - 4 small cuts of different cheeses with some slices of bread, fruits and nuts. Definitely not worth the price even with the small cut of blue cheese. The only good point of the place was the ambience and decor. Nicely done and has a very romantic feel to it. Apart from that, not worth a second visit and definitely very overrated.

I chose Cafe Cafe as a part of my mothers 55th birthday party plan. I had contacted the restaurant a few days prior to find out if anything special could be organized. The waiter was quite unsure about what could be done but directed me to the Chef - Pascal. Pascal was fabulous! I gave him a list of my mums favorite's and asked if a tasting menu could be prepared with these in mind. Within a matter of 3 days, and a bit of back and forth, Pascal accommodated every request we had. The restaurant itself is tucked away but has a beautiful ambiance. Pascal and his team really went over and beyond with the food and wine. It was a gorgeous evening.

Went there around Christmas time, the surroundings and the music were amazing however, their servings are tiny even for a fine dining restaurant. the food was very tasty, I had a white truffle fettuccine which was very rich and luxurious and my boyfriend had some roasted chicken breast dish which was served with less than a tea spoon of mashed potato as the side. Restaurant is better for it's ambience than it's food. Very romantic setting but be prepared to leave hungry and not so satisfied. Not great value for money

I have been living in Malaysia for almost a decade and this turned to be one of my favorite restaurants. We order 3 course meal and every course was better than the other. We even ordered our appetizer again at the end. Good one, good ambiance and great and friendly staff. One can't ask for more. The biggest problem with this place is the location of this place it is truly a hidden gem in a ghetto. I believe management should do something about the outside area of the place and sort out the rats problem. Laterally when you park the car at the back, rats are FLYING everyone, tens of them which is fine for me but not for ladies. It might not be in control of the management that much but they need to do something about it. For that those reasons I rate this pace 4 starts even though we enjoyed it to the max. Thanks,

Rats in this place, disgusting. And when we complained, no one reacted at all. Really disappointing, we were so looking forward to this evening. The food was good, but this spoilt the evening

We had dinner here and enjoyed it very much. The green curry was sensational and the prices were very reasonable. Great service and good food always helps make a meal more special. They took great care of my young boy as well. We will return again.

Had a surprised anniversary dinner there, was arranged by husband. However, to my horror, the furniture at the second floor is in bad shape. Some chairs are in wobbly condition and a broken sofa is there for guests to sit. I would not come back again even the food is so-so with the above average price tag. Little cockroaches are running around in the restaurant. Cafe Cafe, you guys need a serious refurbishment work.

Hubs surprised me, again, for our anniversary dinner at this treasure restaurant that we very much liked. And again, they still managed to astound me. For starters, hubs ordered the truffled prawn(again cz it ws so good the last time) and it tasted just as it did before. The combination of fried prawns, truffle cream, honey and crushed nuts was praised by him from the start of our dinner til the end. Which by the way, interrupted my moment with Cafe Cafe's delicate foie gras. The texture was just right with apple compote and pears. However, the apple vinaigrette overpowered the dish a bit. For our mains, hubs had the lamb medallion. The honey lemon mustard dressing complemented the portioned medallion. He very much enjoyed the sauce and surprisingly finished his quinoas and lentils salad. I had the beef tenderloin and it was perfectly cooked as per requested(I love when people get my steak right). The meat was tender and well seasoned. The wasabi dressing was a bit much for me, I finished hubs dressing instead (wife material lol). To end, hubs ordered his all-time-fav, the creme brulee. Yeap, he did the trick(refer to my previous review on Cafe Cafe) again and our waiter seemed to be proud of the fact that he taught us that on our previous visit. He should be cuz we do that trick EVERYWHERE for our creme brulee. I had their chocolate cake and the center was heavenly molten. Taste wise, it was average but still good to have it once in a while. All and all, our visit at Cafe Cafe was amazing(again). Thanks for the decoration for our anniversary and thanks for the helpful waiters!
