I liked the place. It differs from other modern restaurants in Kl, very cozy and makes you feel relaxed. Ive never been to Paris but the atmosphere is european. Location is ok if you use taxi. No idea whether its hard to find using public transport. I like that they have food sets and sets are of a good price. I dont eat meat but still had choice what to choose from (fish etc). At first glance portions seemed little but once you finish all the set you get full. Restaurant doesnt provide taxi service. I mean we asked to order taxi but they said they dont do it. Although they agreed to help later..

This beautiful business deserves a visit by anyone that loves good french food in Asia. The restaurant is in a slightly obscure location, which adds charm to the experience. There is a lot of road/highway very close, but as soon as you step through the door you feel as you have entered a lovely seasoned Parisian restaurant. The service is impeccable. The food is superb and every time we get to go we are reminded of the fact that it had been too long since the last time and we have to back for more soon. Absolutely recommended. Not for a low budget meal, but for people that appreciate great service and food without too much financial consideration, GO!!!

It's not a bad place. Don't get me wrong. But I feel that the place has been around so long that all reviews are a bit outdated. From what I've read, I gathered that both the quality of food and service has deteriorated. Essentially, what you're paying for is the atmosphere.

Always eat the creme brûlée there. Their pasta is a hit and miss at times. Cannot complain too much it is not very expensive either.

If you've ever been to a real french restaurant you're in for a shock. Restaurant busy even though it was difficult to find. Staff were very attentive but the food was a let down. I opted to have scallops as a starter, three tiny scollops and some lettuce. I followed this with canard confit with potato, the duck was dry and tough and the 8 potato cubes where hidden under the duck. Very unappetizing. All in all a disappointing meal.

The last time I visited Café Café was some 10 years ago. I remember the ambience was charming belle époque style, lighting was soft but not dim, prices were reasonable but food was mediocre. Our 8th year wedding anniversary brought me back to this den, due to the romantic setting and several recent good reviews in TA. It was relatively easy to find a good carpark nearby when we arrived at 7:30pm, but probably we were lucky due to the not-so-busy Tuesday evening. First impression when we walked in was the belle époque style remains, but the lighting was so dim that we thought we have walked into Dining in the Dark. Honestly, it was quite difficult to read the menu without going nearer to the table candle, and we saw several customers even taking out their flash light (handphone) in order to read the menu. In fact, all waiters were seen carrying a mini LED torch light with them, and they would lend a hand if you need higher level of illumination. With their prior permission, I brought along a 15 year-old Coonawarra to grace the occasion. I asked the maître d’ to decant the wine carefully before serving, and he walked away with the bottle and came back with a decanted wine on his hand within 3 minutes. When they charged RM60 corkage a pop, I would have expected them to extract the cork and decant the wine in front of us, and select dedicated stemware to go with the wine. Sad to say that they seemed to use only big Burgundian style goblets for red wines across the board. I would love to see how the wine colour has developed over the years, but again the lighting was too dim for comfort. When the bread rolls were brought out, the waiter left a stack of paper serviettes on the table. That was when we realized that there were no table napkins on all the dining tables. When we asked, the waiter struggled to bring us some table napkins from a hidden corner. When we looked around at other diners, most of them did not have any table napkin on their lap, and it seems to me that the restaurant would bring out table napkins only upon request. Obviously, they cut corners at the wrong end. Wooden chairs were quite hard to sit on and not very comfortable, would have been nicer if they provide seat cushions for extra comfort. Four different prix fixe menus (3-4 courses) offer slightly better value compared to the a la carte menu. On that day, both duck salad and duck breast were not available, but all other food that we ordered from the prix fixe menus were nicely done and presented. I particularly liked the broccoli soup and the truffle prawns. By the end of the dinner, the restaurant brought us a complimentary chocolate lava cake with congratulatory words for our anniversary. A nice thought. Despite many oversights and imperfections, service there was attentive and friendly, and I could feel that waiters were trying to deliver their best. Food pricing was not unreasonably expensive, but the restaurant ought to be more innovative with the choice of food ingredients to break away from the mould of mediocrity.

Know this place from one of my fussy friend that highly recommend cafe cafe dessert -Tiramisu. So far this is the best tiramisu that I had at KL. Beside cream brûlée also worthy to try.

This lovely French and contemporary styled cafe is definitely my favourite for a spending a beautiful dinner and some great time with a couple of friends while sipping some reds from its in house collection. Beefs are a definite must here for meat lovers. Do try the seafood risotto too, I loved it too. Well the ambient of the place is great for a private group of 10-15 pax dinner, piped Italiano music and even staffs with a little bit of French accent serving you with utmost pleasure. Great dine in venue for couple's evening out. Rating it a 9.5/10 because of lack of parking spaces.

We got caught in the train while getting a piece of document certified in a nearby office. One really has to know this restaurant to find it. It is not too far by taxi from the city center but I would.not imagine any driver would have heard about the place.it is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant, at least based on the price. The deco is Europaen so is the food. My GF ordered scallop for apertizer and it came with only one piece on the plate. The rest of the food were average. No plan to go back as there many more fine dining places within walking distance.

I cannot say enough about Cafe Cafe. From starters to dessert, this restaurant was perfect. The dangling crystals, chandelier and candelight made for a jazzy art deco dinner with friends. For a couple, quiet, discrete romance can bloom. The food was delicious. Steak, oysters, brie (oh my, the brie)! Then they brought out a treat of desserts for us as a gift, and the chocolate cake made my night. The servers were knowledgeable and sweet. I will definitely come again and so should you!

Excellent choice of restaurant for that Paris Art Deco feel and French cuisine. Not busy, but calm and perfect for an evening with friends. Recommend the tenderloin or salmon on the set menu. Welcoming peach drink and free gratis sorbets were a nice touch. Service from Ajay and the team was superb. Definitely worth a visit.

The location and the surroundings outside the restaurant wouldn't make you think an excellent French cuisine restaurant is here. I had been to this restaurant for several times and never get disappointed. The atmosphere inside is cozy, very suitable for couples. Server are well trained and attentive to details. I strongly recommend try their signature appetizer Truffle Prawns and Chocolate Cake for dessert. Main dish I tried were Stir Fried Fettucine with Truffle Oil, Wagyu Beef Cheek and Wagyu Steak. I would say their foods always impress me, be it presentation or the taste. Lucky can have nice French cuisine in Kuala Lumpur, I don't have to fly to France ^o^
