when I saw this restaurant online I was wondering will this be a suitable place for my 10 anniversary dinner. I wanted this night to be perfect. We only get one 10th anniversary together. As a result the evening was beautiful and delicious. The food was well cooked and serve perfectly right. Despite the excellent rating I have given this restaurant there is still room for improvement. The service should be equal as we were only serve with a complimentary champagne for our anniversary but another table were served with complimentary champagne and another welcome drink. The chairs should be cushion and the Toilet smells. But overall this is still a great restaurant to go for any celebration or business meal. It is quiet, Romantic and well fed. Thank you.

A place i have been wanting to go since 10 years ago. Glad I went with my husband for our 4th anniversary...It is a little cosy place for you to forget about the hustle and bustle of KL city. We enjoyed the old school feel of this place. The price was right, food was fine although we had better elsewhere...but all was good. Waiters were accommodating too...well it must be our lucky day because it's not everyday that you can meet polite foreign waiters in KL :)

Ambience and food still remains good. Been several years since I have been here. In spite of the location it's worth taking the effort to go off the beaten track. The weekday set menus are a treat. Wine is reasonable. Would make a great venue for a cosy function.

I visited on August 2014 with my business partner. I need to bring out some suggestion which they need to improve. 1st, they missed out my booking and placed me to table near toilet area. 2nd, they served low quality ingredients with high prices, no worth for this kind of meal. 3rd, all service staffs are foreigner without proper services. 4th, noisy and a lot mosquitoes. End up we spend almost rm370 for the bill with only one red wine. We not satisfied what we had at this restaurant. Sorry no next visit.

The atmosphere is old style bistro and a little cliqued but fun. The room is dark but there are candles on the tables and when I started to use my phone light to read the menu I was handed a small torch. The room was happy and a couple of tables were celebrating birthdays and everyone joined in the singing.
The menu options are provided as a series of packages but there seemed to be provision to mix and match with individual prices for dishes also shown. The wine list was reasonable although there was no champagne by the glass, only an indifferent prosecco. Prices are fair but this is not a cheap night out.
The food was patchy. My dining companions choices were more successful than mine. The scallop dish contained a single scallop on a large white plate. The duck confit was tough. but the salad nicoise was apparently fine and the lamb shanks good.
Overall a pleasant night out, although in an odd location. Only dodgy taxis seemed to be available at the end of the evening.

Went there with a friend for dinner , choice of wine and food is quite ok. Menu wise if I remember it right they have sets of package menu starting from entry to desert. Location ,yes it's odd ;on the corner of the road surrounded by Chinese restaurants. But it is an old restaurant .decoration and staff are nice. For a change go and try this and experience it yourself. And I think it fits the bill of date or romantic night. All were good except the pasta that I had was a lil too salty.

I don't feel full after the whole meal course. Overpriced and slightly disappointed with the portion served. Food tastes good, but somehow missing something. Decoration&Menu stayed the same since a couple of years since I visited. nothing new. You'll only visit once to this restaurant, unless you want to try out every set they offers.

A refreshingly informal place to meet friends, colleagues or even a special acquaintance. they are serving french and italian classic meals ,served by pleasant looking polite staffs. must try the pan seard foie gras which is their signature dish as well and honey truffles king prawns. french duck breast, cheeks of wagyu beef. and for the dessert classic tiramisu and hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream.... its so yummy . price are very reasonable , unique atmosphere but location is little hidden and little hard to find the place. after all, worth to have a dining experience in cafe cafe. EXCELLENT

Bad location, ridiculous prices; obscurely absurd; yes, it looks French... 1st class quintessential KL product for ignorant expats and locals alike.

With regard to service, they made a common mistake as other fine dining restaurants. They shouldn't keep asking me to order wine or spirit since I had told them I was going to drive later. Apart from this problem, their service was quite good.
Although Cafe Cafe's location is not that good, it is like a hidden gem surrounding by hawker centers and normal residences. It is tough to imagine a fine dining restaurant actually locates at the corner of that street. It took me couple of minutes to find the shop sign of Cafe Cafe.
In terms of set menu, they did a truly good job on presenting formal Italian dining experiences to customers. Two antipasto (mixed with primo), palate cleanser, secondo, cheese, macaroon and cakes (petite four) and dolce. Although something was missing from a formal Italian dining set, I think their set menu was closest to the formal set.
Foods were above average and not that suitable for locals (my friends), especially dolce. Tiramisu with spirit and creme brulee with espresso shot. The lava chocolate cake was totally stunning delicious. Scallop with prosciutto, duck confit, risotto with seafood and foie gras were dancing on my little palate. Palate cleanser acted an important role in here. Worth to mention, foie gras in Cafe Cafe was duck liver, instead of goose liver.
Total damage for that night was around RM700 for 4 persons even without ordering any alcoholic drink. Cafe Cafe's price range is very near to Cilantro and Ten, although it only wins them in atmosphere. If you want a memorable night for dating or celebration, here is your place. If you want good Italian meal, you could try other cheaper but tastier choices such as Sassorosso or Zenzero.

This place (despite its unassuming exterior) has a great decor and atmosphere. The star are highly trained and attentive. The wine selection is decent and the food (French/Italian) is as good as anywhere i've eaten in Melbourne.

Not hard to be found. Waiters' services were good and friendly. The entire atmosphere was romantic under dimmed lights. Food was average, not up to expectation.

Fantastic ambience!
Had a la carte with scallop as starter and tenderloin as main course.
I Will rate the food 4 out of 5 and the ambience 5 out of 5.
They have set menus that start from 119RM, wine list looked very nice (I'm not much of a wine drinker so I shall not review it).
Perfect place for a romantic dinner.
A lot of tables for 2 which I guess can be rearranged to take bigger companies.

Location wise it is very difficult to find unless you are local. Parking can be a problem. Forced to park at the alley behind the shops. Nice ambient although a bit too dark for us. The waiter is a bit pushy and annoying. Food is just average.. Ordered lamb shank served with red wine sauce..
Expensive (Well, not surprised by looking at the decor) But the food quality can be better at this price range.
