The first Kampachi outside of Equatorial Hotel and is currently nestled in the award-winning retail mall located at the heart of the Golden Triangle in Kuala Lumpur. Thanks to the staff, she really do a good job and good recommendation on food. We can see, your staff very care to customer! We had mix sashimi good for 3pax, and she also recommended some salad too. The sashimi very fresh and salad is amazing. But wht we like about her, she explain all the food very clear and she also look so happy to serving us. Thanks to izaiti.. we will come back.

This is my first time in Malaysia, Kula Lumpur to be exact , so far I have not been disappointed by the multi- cultural infusion this city had to offer.
Kampachi was an experience
I ventured into the Pavillion Mall to seek out Zara ( I have this habit of seeing every Zara store no matter what country I visit) instead I ended up going into Kampachi for lunch ( Zara is still on my hit list)
As you enter you are greeted by all the staff that is present.
I sat at the counter ( Did I fail to mention this is a Japanese restaurant..my bad)
At first sight the ambiance was pleasant and the presentation of the staff and restaurant was on point.
I ordered the Special Sushi Bento, you will not be disappointed.
The presentation was fabulous.To have the opportunity to sit at the counter and watch these chef create was spectacular; the precision and concentration with their knives is amazing
The desserts are a viareity of ice cream, sorbets, tempura, mochi ( rice cake coated with nuts) and seasonal Japanese fruits.
You will not be disappointed

It’s been a while since we last visited kampachi, pleasant surprise. We are lucky to have a attentive pleasant lady staff who provided excellent recommendations on dishes, the lamb and cod fish are stars of the day, final magic touch- Japanese grapes. Will be back soon!

Lovely Japanese Cuisine dinner at Kampachi with a tuna belly so fresh and tender, lotus salad with crispy skin fish blends well with hot Sakae for wonderful end month of June. Seafood hotpot was awesome and fantabulous with its freshness. The fresh sashimi was so freshly slice into pieces that melts into the mouth feeling lovely. Teppanyaki chicken with crispy garlic and vegetables was great to blend well with its meal. The Muah Chee was very well done with its nuts and sugar blend together so soft and lovely, lastly a fresh air-flown peach all the way from Japan to have it as our desert. Lovely ambiance and fantabulous service. 😋😋😋

First of all, I would like to thank you for your kind and good recommendation during my first visit in your restaurant. Specially to the person who take our orders and serves us. Zati and Zabidah.. 👏👏👏 Both of them give us good service, very friendly and knowledgeable about food/promotion. We had Miyazaki Beef on lava stone beef really marbling and had good quality. Not over price because they had beef selection too. Overall, me and my wife really happy and enjoy.. Wish all the best🥂🥂🥂

This is the very first time we try Truffle and uni fried rice.The taste was so amazing. the staff are live cook infront of you and do well explaination about they menu and they are checking frequently our table needed.I sincerely recommend to visit and try the food at Kampachi and experience its yourself,specially the fan of uni,i highly suggest you guys to try they new menu.Im not fan of uni but after try truffle and uni fried rice i might change my mind now.Thank u kampachi for the good recommendation and good service.keep it up.will see u soon

We spent the whole day in Pavilion and wanted something ‘clean’ to close the day.
We ordered the set menu. Look it was ok, wasn’t bad, and my most famous words ‘we won’t be rushing back’.
Price is on the high side. Pavilion fine dining floor so we get that. We are paying for the rent. So no complains.
But as a comparison, we feel the set menu in Rakuzen were a little more ‘polished’ and presents better value. Then again this is subjective and reflects only on our opinion.
Cosy, great service and their green tea selection is amazing. For us, this was actually the highlight of the restaurant.

As always I left to Chef Jack to choose what to serve me for dinner and Chef Jack NEVER disappoints. It was more of a journey of pleasant tastes rather than dinner. Chef Jack presented us with a sushi omakase dinner course where he served us with his amazing sashimi and sushi creations. If you want something different from your usual unagi roll then you must try this. Just tell Chef Jack you want the Sushi Omakase Course and you will be transported to dining heaven. Waiters Suzailana and Dan Henes excellent service makes you feel even more at home and completes your wonderful dining experience. This is my gazilionth visit to Kampachi Pavilion and I will certainly return.

Always feels lovely and awesome to be back here dining forever authentic Japanese Lunch With Good Companion. Lovely fresh Shashimi that so so fresh, tender snd juicy melting through the mouth endlessly. The cod fish hotpot was fantabulous with its vegetables and hot soup udon. Teppanyaki chicken with stir fried vegetables was just nice to blend with the awesome meal. Grilled Cod fish was superbly done well with freshly made tuna maki. Beautiful lunch with beautiful people. 😋😋😋

Ordered the kampachi salad, negitoro maki, shake aburi maki and special sushi bento. Nice food. The fish is fresh. Overall 8/10, service by the staff excellent. Some fellow diners (tourist types) a bit noisy for awhile, but seemed to also enjoy the food.

Although on the pricey end, Kampachi served delicious food, has good presentation, and we experienced authentic Japanese cooking. We were a group of 23 pax, our food was delivered relatively fast and we all enjoyed our lunch together. Kudos to Mirwan who served us very well.

The food is overly priced and not very satisfying to eat. Service is not very good, the menu is given to us simply and when we asked if the waitress could bring the paying machine over to our table, there was no reply. Bad customer service and very, very overexpensive food. Had to ask for bill for more than four times to get a reply.

With an abundance of restaurants at Pavilion, one is really spoilt for choice on what to eat. We came across a familiar name that's been around since my childhood days. I must say that it has lived up to its name and do suggest to try it out. Quality and freshness is great. There's a wide choice on the menu that will definitely suit everyone from young to old and whether you eat raw or cooked food. Don't wait anymore!

I was tasked with ordering lunch for a couple of VIP guests who were visiting our office. The assignment was to create a classy cosy lunch. I reached out to Kampachi Pavilion and from the get-go (the waiter - Hanafi answered all my questions patiently) to Emma (the manager) who was very helpful to accommodate my requests in curating a bento box that would fit our needs.
I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent, the presentation superb but most of all the peace of mind of knowing that Emma & her team knew what I needed and was committed to deliver on time as promised in spite of some challenges that cropped up. Kampachi Pavilion will definitely be my number one choice!

Most so called Japanese restaurants around sell the same thing , look the same , with their conveyor belt loading with "sushis" , and ramens !!! This place is the real thing , the Japanese little things very special , very different and very good. This is not some kind of fast food. It is gastronomy. At least this is what I and guests tasted and appreciated as a different type of Japanese restaurant. It was delicious.
