Fast service. Simple but GOOD food. Really. These were evident during my first visit to Meng Kee for lunch with colleagues. Though it is known for its char siew, MK's soy chicken and bean sprouts rate highly as well. Paired with hot tea, our simple meal of pork, chicken and sprouts make us want to come back for more. Another... More

Like the Char Siew and around this area. Remember to drop by Meng Kee Char Siew King to taste their Char Siew. Non Halal specialty here!

Go for this place. Best pork in town. Their pork will melt in your mouth. Together with the chicken and the all time favourite bbq pork. This is the place to be during your hunger time. Whack whack

I patronise the Glenmarie branch monthly. They serve wanton noodle for breakfast. The best CharSiew and you have to be early for lunch before 12 noon. Closed on Sunday. When late you are left with the roast chicken, nice but the best is the caramelised sticky Barbeque Pork or Cantonese calls CharSiew. If the roast chicken sold out, no worry,... More

The shop has moved since last i have eaten. Ordered the char siew wan tan noodles and the way the char siew was given was as precious as gold e.g. thinly and tinily cut. The pieces of wan tan given were tinier than my little pinky finger. Indeed a disappointment. The standard of the food has definitely dropped badly.

This place is famous for its unique caramelised char siew (roast pork) and that is indeed good. Somewhat lean and not too much fat yet tender with delectable crisp bits. My absolute favourite though was the sliced brinjals (eggplants), fried with mean chilli padi and onions. This is the first time I've had brinjals done this way and it mustn't... More

One of the best Char Siew in town - a statement that isn't new for Meng Kee reviews. Rightly charred on the outside and tender melt-ish fats on the inside. However, I've also tasted dried bits of char siew in my serving. But I've discounted that bit for the wholesome good of the plate. Nonetheless, it disturbs me to a... More

Yummy char siew - request for the slightly burnt outside which is crunchy but tender/soft inside. The char siew is not cheap. A plate for 2 will come up to about RM20. But I would still pay for this yummy char siew. Their "white chicken" is quite yummy too. I like their herbal drink Luo Hon Guo. They have a... More
