Does anyone miss the little cafe tucked away in a glasshouse on the misty hilltop of Fraser Hill? Fret not! Deep within the heart of TTDI, lies a cafe on the second story of a shop-lot resembling a glasshouse filled with lush greenery which keeps...shy founders Jack and Foo busy dishing out mouth watering desserts with a touch of sophistication. Diners are greeted by an homely instagrammable corner complete with rustic furniture, inviting sofas and even a bookcase which also acts as a waiting area. Enter the cafe with an adventurous heart and open mind with the promise of leaving with a full and satisfied tummy. One of their signatures is the apple strudel with black pepper mango ice cream (RM29) which arrived masked as a crusty dumpling but bursting with nicely spiced apple strudel within. It was accompanied by a mango ice cream which gave with a peppery twist. Another signature is their strawberry tart with balsamic vinegar ice cream. The strawberries were fresh and extremely crunchy with a layer of light cream which was held snug with a crusty tart. Remember to make a reservation or to go during off peak hours as it can get pretty packed. Not only were the desserts pretty, they were also unorthodox and undoubtedly delicious The link to our published article on Eater with more photos and videos can be found on Instagram and YouTube (@monk3yseendo )More

Again based on food bloggers' raves, I invited two friends to try to satiate our sweet teeth! And we were not disappointed. We ordered Oatmilk Pudding with Fruit Salsa; crispy Profiteroles with salted caramel ice cream and Apple Strudel. We all agreed that the Oatmilk...Pudding with Fruit Salsa was the best followed by the profiteroles. Jack & Foo were there and very amiable and the ambience in the cafe is like being in someone's home. I highly recommend this to all those who have a soft spot for desserts!!!More

Hidden on the first floor along a flow of shophouses in busy TTDI area is a purveyor of fine desserts. I came across this awesome dessert shop few years ago when I was looking for dessert place after lunch. Curiosity brought me up to the...dessert place and since the first visit, which was an enjoyable experience by the way, I waited for the chance to revisit them again. Located directly above Cutter & Tailor, I felt like entering an oasis of desserts. Everyone seems so happy chatting with each other, tucking into their sweet stuffs. As we were in a big group, we could afford to order a lot to sample. Do take more that these visits were pre-MCO. ◾Pear & blackberry crumble with passion coconut milk ice cream ◾semifreddo with flourless chocolate brownie ◾Matcha Panna cotta with cherry compote and candied line nuts ◾red wine poached pear with chrysanthemum ice cream - this was not available during my second visit to it might have been taken down. ◾Creme brulee with prune compote ◾Crispy profiteroles with salted caramel coffee ice cream ◾ice cream - interesting flavours such as chrysanthemum, Guineas Stout (yes it contains alcohol!) And salted caramel coffee. I simply love the chrysanthemum as it tasted similar to the Yeo's packet drink that I used to drink since small. Other flavours were quite good too... ◾Coffee and tea plus juices and soft drinks are available too. If you have sweet tooth, then this place is for you. Perfect hangout place on a lazy weekend afternoon. Service is fast, friendly and attentive.More

Great atmosphere and ambience. Great service. Great coffee and a great choice of desserts. We had a crispy profiteroles with salted caramel coffee ice cream, and also a creme brulee. Both very generous serves - and both very very delicious. Well done Foo Foo

Better call in advance to make a reservation, it gets full very fast. We were only allowed seating of maximum of 90mins so other customer can also get their turn to dine. We actually did sit for the full 90mins, give a take a couple...of minutes ;) I had Matcha Panna Cotta - i dont like the berries and the nuts but the matcha itself is soooo goood. My latte is perfect too. As for the other desserts i did not try but seems nobody complained so should be good. The items are towards the pricey side.More

I tried a couple of their desserts but only the apple strudel was fancy enough in taste and presentation both. The cafe though is beautiful and nicely decorated to give me a fantastic feel.

This is my kind of favourite hangout with friends just to savour delish desserts, juicy gossips & on a rare occasion; a cute guy as a tasty, eye candy. Value for money in terms of quality & taste wise is consistent in each visit. Love...the old, classy, homely ambience. Service is fast & friendly. Do make reservations as the place can be quite packed & noisy especially during weekends/public holidays. Will definitely return with some old & new friends in tow.More
