Me and my wife were going around BGC searching for a nice quite relaxing place to eat when we remembered Le Opera. For starters we ordered some Baked Oysters. These were big and huge. Wished the cheese was sharper though. Also share the Cesar's Salad which was just okay. For mains my wife and I shared the Mushroom Ravioli and... More

Ate dinner on an early Saturday evening. Restaurant was nearly empty when we were seated but slowly started filling up. Food was good and the service equally pleasant. The risotto with seafood was quite good. Prices a tad bit more than warranted but still reasonable. I liked the place - I'll be back.

Being Italian I am very picky about my own country dishes. I have been here 2 times already and the pastas are really good, especially the one with tomato spicy sauce and with bolognaise sauce as well. I didn't try pizzas here, but pastas are really authentic. Service was OK, nice romantic ambiance, seat by the window...like in a real... More

Ran by a knowledgeable and professional Tuscan L'Opera sets the high benchmark for how an Italian restaurant should operate in Asia. With Sicilian, Tuscan or Napoli dishes all cooked with love casa linga, you feel like you are eating at and Italian family banquet rather than in a five star restaurant. Full marks to the owner. I highly recommend.

Ambience was pleasant and with a great company, nothing could have been more perfect. There were 6 of us and everyone had great food. I had the best Osso Buco cooked to perfection. Tiramisu at the end was a bit too generous a serving. Would love to go back again.

Fine Italian cuisine if you marvel at ambiance. The last time I was here was about 2 years ago and I must say they can be more conscious of the dust that has built in their decor. It used to be a favorite but with the emergence of other restaurants in the area, I was hoping they will upgrade their... More

My husband and I were just looking for a decent italian dessert within BGC area. As we entered in this establishment at 7pm, chef, waitress and a manager , were having some chat at the dining area. At first we thought they were not open yet but then they ran to their respective station when they see us. Resto was... More

The food was not bad at all, a bit on the pricey side. They tried very hard to 'Italianize' the decor, though maybe it's personal, but it turned out to be that of an the old Italy. I like my restaurants a bit contemporary without loosing its theme.
