Fabulous sushi takeout! Great

Fabulous sushi takeout! Great service and very reasonable prices. I was very impressed with the amount of food and the flavor. We eat out sushi often at home ( Orlando area ) and also when we travel (22 countries so far). This is the best we have found!!! We can’t wait to return.

Good with excellent options

They are still only open for drive through, but the food is good. It could, however, be packed a bit better. I arrived home with warm seaweed salad and about 1/2 a cup of sauce in the bag. It was still one of the best things I've eaten since the pandemic started. Best thing is that those who answer the phone are knowledgeable and helpful.

Kobe Grill is a Japanese restaurant featuring sushi, tempora, teriyaki and hibachi. Prospective customers should know that the printed menu is a guide. It pays to talk to your friendly server about your ordering options. There is no sit around tappanyaki. Cooked meals are prepared in the kitchen and brought to your table.

Good food and friendly server

We stopped by while passing through town. The hibachi chicken was delicious. The server was very friendly and gave good directions on where to find a gas station that was easy to enter with an RV. Everyone in our group was happy with the meals.

The reviews we read were too kind. The food was edible and just okay. Meat portions were small as was the entire plate. The cost was too high for what we got. Not a good value. The reviews gave it a 5 star rating; it's actually more like a 2.5 but definitely no more than a 3.

Very quick, since we went at a good time. Very tasty food from the grill. Did not order from the sushi bar, this time. Tables, chairs & Ladies' Room show signs of wear.

Fantastic sushi!

We are avid sushi eaters and are very hard to please when it comes to sushi. This place has fantastic sushi! We had paradise roll and red dragon. As well as the tuna tataki and steak and shrimp teriyaki fried rice place. Everything was amazing!!!!!!!! I never write reviews but this place was too good not to. The manager fellow is amazing!!

Though they don’t do the hibachi in front of you it is still wonderful. My husband loves trying a new sushi roll each time we go. Good food, good price.

lets talk about the customer service first. ordered habachi steak with no rice and extra veggies. the guy brought out my food, tilted the bag and all the juice from the container was in the bottom of the bag. he took my food back to rebag it , which he did but didnt wipe the juice from the bottom of the container, therefore the new bag was wet too. now to the food. the veggies were undercooked, meat overcooked and the white sauce runny.

Basically good but don't bother ordering the calamari

Came here to Kobe last night for a few appetizers before we went to Calaboose Cellars. Had the crazy sushi roll,fried dumplings,egg rolls, unagi roll and last and certainly least calamari. All we're good except the portion size of calamari. 6 fried calamari rings for $5.95. When the server put the plate down in front of me, I asked her if that was the correct amount for the price. She said yes. Well I say don't bother getting the calamari for that price for that amount

Prices went up. Quality and quantity went down.

I really liked this place when it first opened. Good food, a lot of it and a good price. Now, everything is opposite. Just for me on my last visit was over $15 and I barely had any meat. The carrot portions are about the size of a tablespoon. You mostly get some very expensive rice.

Good price for scallops!

Had a volcano roll, large sushi with shredded crab and scallops on top with a spicy mayo sauce. Also had a side of scallops for only $4 , you get 4 large scallops with broccoli. Didn’t care much for the broccoli, but had scallops plain seared and turned out wonderful. Also ordered salmon, it seemed over cooked and chewey. I’d go back and just get the volcano with scallops on the side and skip the broccoli for a nice meal and good price.

My sons favorite place in town. He loves their yumyum sauce chicken teriyaki was what we got. It was good. Serving size was plenty.

An Excellent Choice in a Small Town

Rolling through Andrews on our way to Cherokee, NC, we found ourselves hungry at 7:30pm. Choices were rather limited but we settled on Kobe's Grill. We weren't disappointed. Wife had jumbo shrimp and scallops, both well prepared, and I had the Hibachi shrimp, also tasty. We were served very promptly and the manager came by several times to make sure we were happy. We were.
