Phenomenal Pizza Dough

A friend recommended this place to us and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Who knew that Andrews NC would have one of the best pizzas we’ve ever eaten. The dough is so soft and light and the toppings were delicious. Our table started with some cheese bread and pretzel with pub cheese. Devoured in record time. Then we thoroughly enjoyed the Buffalo chicken pizza, bbq chicken pizza, meatball pizza , Classic Italian pizza , a cheese and a pepperoni. It was heavenly! My husband had a beer and the rest of us of age had their cider. Just wonderful. Great service too. We left wishing we had Hoppy Trout in our area.

Great Stout and Pizza

Loved that they had a summer porter and imperial stout available during July. So many places don’t have porters or stouts during the summer months. And they were both really good! The imperial stout was my favorite but both were really good. They had really good homemade root beer as well. We had the Philly cheesesteak pizza and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great Pizza & Brews

Great selection of local craft beers and outstanding brick oven pizza. Pizza crust is heavenly. Take note that they are closed on Sunday despite hours of operation in Trip Advisor.

Super disappointed

All of positive reviews puzzle me. The Pizza was a huge disappointment. Ordered a veggie pizza and it was obvious it was a cheese pizza with veggies thrown on after it came out of the oven. Jalapeno sliders had no flavor and were ridiculously overpriced for what we received. Service was not great. No one asked how we liked the food and our soft drinks were never refilled.

Hoppy Trout Brewing Company Andrews Servers and Cooks petting a dog In restaurant. Sitting at bar next to open aired kitchen and feeding dog pizza on the floor. 909411703 I just had the worst experience ever in this restaurant. We have been coming for 7 years since it opened. I saw “service dog” at bar with a purchased Amazon harness. I saw our server pet him and then proceed to help people in front room. I stopped her and questioned when she came by our table. She acknowledged she did and said she would wash her hands. I responded that is not the point when 2 kitchen workers came out of kitchen and proceed to feed the “dog” and pet dog. I asked for her and she came to our table and said they come in Every night When I went up to my husband at register and said do not leave a tip. The manger started hollering at me as well as her kitchen cook husband or boyfriend to get out! The big man cook white haired guy with garlic breath got in my face so I smelled his breathwho we tipped $50 when we supported restaurant during Covid when only takeouts were allowed m, when I told my husband he shouldn’t be asked to pay at with all employees and cooks feeding and petting dogs he leaned and to me as he was walking by and said if you don’t pay I will call and have you arrested. I have now be banned from this restaurant as you see in below post from owner. I will tell everyone I know in Cherokee County if my experience and also be contacting the Cherokee County Health Board as well as the NC Health Board of this situation. I actually met owners when they first opened and have visited many times and highly recommended. After tonight’s experience I can now see why the was no one but the bar people in the restaurant.

Excellent beer and tasty pizzas!

We picked up some pizzas and had a couple of beers while we waited for our order. The beer is excellent with an amazing selection and knowledgeable staff to help you pick your perfect beer. We also bought some beer to bring home and they can it right in front of you -- so cool! The pizzas were also good!

Great spot, fun people and good beer!

I have been several time to HTBC. Always find someone nice to talk to at the bar enjoying a beer like me. I have had a few things on the menu and the food is good, pizza is nice to take home to the kids. Would be great if they could figure out an outdoor area for people to hang out, the do have a back porch but it just hasn't gotten there yet. There is a place in Bryson City that has a roof-top spot, if HTBC could figure that out, this would be THE spot.

Great place to put on your to-do list.

We had a nice time at the Hoppy Trout Brewing company. They have flights, so you can try 4 different beers - the ones I had were very good! We also enjoyed their pizza and the wait staff was really friendly. Another place for us to return.

Looking for somewhere to eat on the way home from the lake and found this! Very clean and nice place with Great pizza and beer! We had wonderful service, they could not have been nicer. Very cool place, we loved it!

Neat spot in downtown Andrews. Great beer and food! Even had a magician that entered us for a little bit! Enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

Talented Brewmaster. Delicious beers!

Owners and staff are so friendly! The beer and food were fantastic! We tried several of their brewed beers and they were all delicious. We were so glad we drove the distance to try this place out! We will be back!

Got a flight on our craft brew tasting in the area. Good local place . They had some different brews that were good. They had food but we had just eat so we may try next round.

Yamma Ray for the win!

Wow what a great place! Hubby and I loved the "build your own" pizza and the Yamma Ray beer was seriously the best beer either of us has ever tasted! Angie waited on us and she was fantastic and funny. If we ever pass through Andrews again we will be sure to stop in to the Hoppy Trout!
