We visited early on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy and we were told that there would be a wait. We were eventually seated and our order was taken in a reasonable amount of time. The wait for food, though was good 45 minutes. I had fish and homemade chips. The chips were good and plentiful. The fish was pretty... More

Stopped in on a recent trip to Asheboro and we are glad we did. The food was really good and the service was top notch. Try the clam chowder.

More pub than Sports bar atmosphere, but not too loud for conversation. An eclectic group of diners. We had a generous portion of crispy wonderful onion rings as a starter. The fried flounder sandwich and broccoli slaw were great. The roast beef and cheddar was ooey gooey good. The fries and iced tea were on point. Pleasant attentive service. We'll definitely... More

The Flying Pig is a fun place to gather for a quick burger, onion rings and cold beverages. Such a favorite restaurant in the middle of Sunset Avenue that there is frequently a wait, but well worth it.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Great pub food at a reasonable price. Try the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, excellent. Waitress was really nice as well.

The atmosphere is very nice, This is my favorite pizza place in the Asheboro area. They cook the traditional way, brick ovens, fresh ingredients etc, so when they are busy you may have a little wait for your food, but it is quite worth it.

My husband and I enjoyed eating here on a date night. I had the fried chicken sandwich and angry okra (fried jalapenos) with ranch and they both were very tasty! The staff was very friendly, the music was up pretty loud but we sat near the front so that was our own fault I guess. I enjoyed the quirky pig... More

We were travelling south on I 73 and stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was full, but not overflowing. The few waitresses seemed to be constantly moving, but all the same, we waited exactly 55 minutes for our BBQ sandwich and fish tacos to arrive. That's too long. Food wasn't great either...not bad, but not worth the... More
