This is the best lunch stop between the Dalles and Pendleton, especially if you dislike like fast food and large chains. They have healthy choices and fast, pleasant service.

Stopped in for lunch. It is better than what you can get in Biggs so eat here. Remodeled had station. They had a good selection of sandwiches warm and cold. Also had a bar if you desire. Clean eating and eating area. Bathroom was clean. Looks like it is owned by the same people as Pat's pheasant grill. A side... More

I found this Restaurant to have excellent food and service! I regret to inform you that the Deli closed in October of 2015. Many customers who ate there will truly miss it!

Leave your ketchup and barbecue sauce at home, this food is awesome as-is! Great flavors and good combinations for the modern palate. The thought behind the dishes is evident- like sticking a breakfast burrito on the panini grill to help hold it together. Who would have thought! That, and the five choices of tortilla and locally roasted coffee make this... More

Don't let the old gas station exterior deter you. The inside is remodeled nicely. Salads, wraps, paninis, breakfast and lunch sandwiches. All six items we had were delicious. Service was friendly but slow with only one person working.

Driving from Bend to Walla Walla. Very limited lunch options. Took Trip Advisers advice. Quick and pleasant service, yummy food, and pleasant and clean venue. What more could you ask for. My Chinese chicken wrap was great!

We found River's Edge Deli online when searching for a group lunch stop for our group of 17 people in 9 cars. We spoke with the owner and made arrangements to have each couple call their order in the previous day and lunch would be ready to pick up when we arrived. We planned to picnic in the park, but... Perfect travel break! We stopped for gas at the Shell station & asked if there was a deli close by. We grabbed sandwiches & coffee here, then walked to the park down the street; it was a delightful picnic with our dog, in a serene setting. The food was delicious and service good (just remember it's not "fast" food). You... More

We stopped for lunch at Rivers Edge on a drive up to Eastern Oregon. Rivers Edge is in what is probably a past gas station, with not enough signage - we nearly drove right past. The building also houses a beauty salon. I had a chicken Caesar salad which was just OK. My husband liked his meatball sandwich well enough.

We found this place on Trip Advisor and decided to try it for a quick lunch. Friendly service, she recommended the Chicken Caesar wrap and the chicken club panini which had pesto on it. They both were excellent. They have an espresso bar and use locally roasted coffee. It's located in a remodeled gas station, look for the flags. They... More
