nice, good sushi & sashimi -- a pleasant physical set up and atmosphere. the food was good - some creativity but not overload. good stand by rolls - quality sushi -- don't live in Ashland but will return when I return to Ashland.

Calamari was too salty, but everything else was very good. We tried two different rolls, sashimi and Indonesian corn fritters. Cocktails were interesting and well made.

Great food, quick, friendly service with some amazing twists on the usual fare. Try the Avocado Bomb appetizer or the muscles. You won't be disappointed here.

Restaurant is almost below the Theater so it is convenient. Food was very good although another server "stole" our order and we had to wait a long time to be served. Didn't have tickets that night so it was ok but our server was embarrassed.

Enjoyed a light, but fresh sampling of 3 rolls here before an evening OSF show. Food was beautifully presented and all rolls were very good.

It is hard to find a place that serves consistently fresh fish. After moving to nearby Yreka, CA, (an hour's drive away )we were thrilled when a local suggested we try Taroko. From the first visit (lunch) my sweetie and I were hooked. We were greeted promptly and offered some refreshing cucumber water when we were seated. There is an... More

Does not look as if it has great sushi, but it does. I always eat here when in town. Do not miss it if you like sushi.

One of my regular spots to stop whenever I visit Ashland. The food is usually nothing short of fantastic.....a wee bit pricey in spots for what you receive, but on par with most Ashland restaurants, especially those on the main drag. Stop in and try it!

We ate here a few nights ago and loved it! Our family of four ordered everything from the ahi appetizer, to rolls, to the udon noodle soup and all of it was so yummy. The service was great. I am not giving it 5 stars because I agree with others that the backroom totally lacks in atmosphere and the front... More

Our local Ashland friend met us here for dinner. Arriving at 5pm opening we were seated promptly. Welcome air conditioning on warm evening. Taroko's pan-asian menu is a relief from burger/fry-up choices other places. Our sushi sampler, pad thai, specialty roll, and seaweed salad were just the right amount of food. Beers and house white wine hit the spot. Flavors... More
