We enjoyed our neighborhood's annual holiday fest at Posta Rosa. The restaurant provided us with generous portions of Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Rollatini, Pasta Primavera and Shrimp Pasta, along with a mozzarella and tomato appetizer, salad, dinner rolls and canolini for dessert. All were delicious. It was nice that we could BYOWine. Staff was attentive and helpful. We were hopeful that... More

Allentown is undergoing a renaissance downtown with many new restaurants opening, so the pressure is on for the ones that have been here for a while. This place more than holds it own. The food is delicious, plentiful and value priced. The restaurant is BYOB, so we were able to get out with a filling tasty meal including dessert for... More

We have eaten dinner here twice, I highly recommend the fresh mozzarella and tomato with prosciutto appetizer. The service has always been great, they are friendly and they don't try to rush you through your meal. You can enjoy each course. And BYOB. My husband ordered veal Marsala which was nice and tender and I ordered the seafood pasta which... More

We arrived for dinner for 6 pm reservations and were not seated until 6:40. At 7 pm, neither bread, water or a server were evident. The hostess, Delores, attempted to respond to our pleas for help but even she could not motivate the incredibly incompetent waitress. Even after we struggled for each course, the waitress brought the wrong dinner for... More

We were seated at 6:30pm. By 7:20,all we had was a complimentary glass of wine. Staff came and went from the open kitchen often with no food. Mind you, my husband and I ordered the soup of the day and one of the specials. The hostess was no help whatsoever. We got up and walked out at 7:30.

We tried Pasta Alla Rosa during the week and had a very nice experience. The wait staff was excellent. Prices are very reasonable and it is BYOB. This is a great restaurant in the up and coming downtown. We very much enjoyed the experience. Thanks.

My wife and I had dinner here before a concert at the new PPL Center. We were very pleased with our choice of restaurants. I had tried to make reservations at several other nearby restaurants, but they were booked up because of the large number of concertgoers. We made reservations for 6:00 and arrived at 5:45, which I'm glad we... More
