Only local place we could find open on a Sunday. Worried my boyfriend's big appetite wouldn't be met but between the green monster smoothie and huge burrito he was good to go. My grits bowl was yummy. Service was warm and efficient.

Great Sandwiches, Bagels and Coffee. Great people and a real gem. Use to come here a lot with my Mom and we shared the club sandwich. Everything is good!

I use to stop by once in awhile for their awesome smoothies. The "green monster" made with kale, almond milk and peanut butter - so good. All the smoothies are made with fresh ingredients. You will see odd combinations on their menu that taste great. For lunch try their chicken salad, homemade soups, breads and sweets. I have not eaten... More

Have been to New Moon Cafe a dozen times. Love the coffee (all kinds--freshly brewed) and scrumptious pasties! Great for small sandwiches too. Quirky place--sort of 1970ish. Locals sit inside and outside the small café. My favorite place for morning.

The moon-puppy-eclectic thing has been done many times, and often better than this. My "G-Love" was described as a "Philly hoagie" except it was cold fatty roast beef, raw peppers onions and mushrooms and some cheese on a bun. Could not be bothered to sauté the veggies or heat the meat. This place felt like store brand meats on bread... More

It's the place for your favorite cup of java...."beans" from all over the world. Small and quaint. Can be hectic at certain hours. Food is ordered at the main food counter and then to find a seat, but that's part of the fun. Exotic menu, something for everyone. Food is delivered to your table. Indoor seating has two rooms, outdoor... More

Grabbed brunch here when traveling through Aiken. Had a yummy berry shake. Their avocado toast was very good. They had a wide variety of options on their menu. Casual place but good food.

Great little place to grab a strong cup of coffee in the morning and fresh baked goods. Small place with both inside and outside seating. SO when you go to the "Masters:", this would be a good start of the day...

New Moon reminds me of a place in Georgetown, Washington, DC near Peace Frogs we used to go to in the 70s. It's sort of hole-in-the-wall and has a great local place feel. You're transported to back in time if you're in may age group. The food is great and the specials are really special! The crab bisque is to... More

New Moon Café has become my go-to spot for breakfast whenever I'm in Aiken. In the heart of downtown, it is small and friendly and serves up great Joe and muffins, grits, and scrambles. I've never been in for lunch but I would not hesitate to go for the noontime meal whenever I could. Coffee is roasted next door and... More
