We went to lunch - Reuben, chips, and a very small slice of cake. Nice atmosphere. Food was good. All the sweets behind the glass looked very good as well.

The Sweetery in Anderson SC has some of the absolute BEST cakes and bakery items available anywhere. Their sandwiches are extremely good and they have a little cafe for in-house dining. You also get a dessert with your meal! They have a wide variety of desserts, bakery items and sweet treats. My personal favorite is their strawberry cake with cream... More

This is my go to spot for my birthday cake every year. I am sure there other stuff is very good, but the strawberry cake is amazing!

Having never been here before, I called a couple weeks in advance to see if the business was large enough to accommodate a party of 8-10 people, and to see if that was something we could do. I was told it was. Great! Then a couple days beforehand, I called to confirm. Glad I did that, but was uncertain after... More

We have bought cakes and pies from The Sweetery for years, every time we are in Anderson, SC. Last week we stopped by to find that it has been enlarged and added a few tables and chairs for customers. Its menu also now has sandwiches. The food is great, but what I like, (and probably shouldn't tell it here), is... More

Did not have my sons birthday cake as promised! Come back at 5PM they said! No Way! I had to go buy cake out of the cooler at BI-LO, huge disappointment. They just though I could just "change my plans a bit"

All of their cakes are great and so are their cookies. They're worth going out of your way just to get their baked goods.

The strawberry cake and chocolate delight are both amazing, but if you're looking for lunch there are a lot of better tasting, less expensive options in Anderson. You'll drop upwards $25 for two, and while you'll be treated well - you'll be disappointed that your sandwich was not as amazing as you thought it would be after seeing the cakes.... More

Every time we buy a cake from The Sweetery it is dry and disappointing. They look wonderful but once you get them home they are horrible. Just threw out 3/4th of a 3 layer German Chocolate. They are most likely frozen but Sam's Club has the best cakes in Anderson!

Have purchased many cakes from the Sweetery thru the years. I have never had a bad one. Red Velvet & Strawberry are my favorites. Pound cakes are my least favorite as they can sometimes be a little dry.... not bad just a little dry. The chicken salad is awesome too. If you need a Birthday Cake this is the place... More
