We stopped in for snacks and drinks. Firstly, we got a waiter who was brand new. We ordered drinks- he had no idea what some were or if they had the stuff to make the drinks- someone should have shadowed this poor young man. It wasn't his fault, it was his lack of proper training before he was cut loose.... More

Very good food. Excellent beer selection. In house brewery plus local beer selections. Will definitely come back. Great service. Friendly staff.

From the lunch special to a quant dinner for two. This an excellent choice for any budget. They even brew their own beers right there in the restaurant.

While in downtown Abilene, Cypress Street is the perfect lunch or dinner restaurant. The Wasabi Mushroom Burger with a cold Cucumber/Avacado/Lime soup was the best combination on a hot West Texas summer afternoon. The service was excellent coupled with the ambience of the historic building made for a relaxing lunch! I'll be back!

I like this place. The atmosphere is very nice , our waiter was very attentive, the food was delicious, and they make their own beer. My Mother had the "Down South Burger" which was the special of the day. My lovely Wife had the "CBLT" and I had the "Fish and Chips'. The CBLT is a BLT but adds Canadian... More

My wife and I ate lunch there on Friday, 13 May 2016. I had the Smokehouse Linguine and she had the Veracruz Chicken Ciabatta. Both were very flavorful and well-presented. Portions were ample for lunch.

We came here looking for a quick lunch downtown. The salad I had and the sandwich my wife had were adequate, though not memorable. It's convenient for a meal if you are coming to Frontier Texas, a multimedia museum about the old west.

Everyone was very nice but their local brews weren't my favorite and the food was bland and average. The building was really nice but it seems it's best days are behind it.

I had heard GREAT things about this restaurant so when my family was here for homecoming we went here. The prices were a little high but we we're expecting that. Most of us got the "brick oven" pizza and were thoroughly disappointed. It came out on a cardboard circle like the ones that come frozen. It also tastes that way.... More

Was recommended to us as "upscale" by a lady at the nearby museum. This is false, unless you consider Chili's as fine dining. The food was ok. Certainly not bad, but nothing to get excited over. The waitress was mostly absent, but incredibly friendly when we saw her, which earns points. If you are downtown and looking for a quick... More
