Since we love DQ and really needed to eat lunch and stretch our legs, we didn’t hesitate to stop here even though it was one of the first places we saw as we drove into town. There may be a lot of other places in Alpine, but this worked for us. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t very fast (but it was... More

Visited here several times over the past year. Always DQ, always the best chicken fingers. Great service and friendliness here, every visit. When it's DQ time, it's always good.

The truck stop across the street has much better cheeseburgers and fries. Nicer employees too. DQ does have "ice cream" though. And lots of dead flies on the windowsills.

Was driving through Alpine the evening of 5/29/16 while on vacation. Most dining places were closed so we were glad to see this Dairy Queen open & decided to stop. We shouldn't have. 4 teenagers (3 girls & a boy) were working, well, 1 was working, 1 was evidently training, and 2 were standing off to the side gabbing. We... More

Always good service & good eats! Staff is customer friendly which more places could learn from. Good hours.

After a long day of driving we stopped here for the standard DQ fare about 9pm. Food was good but the place was not well-kept by the employees. A young kid spilled ketchup on the floor resulting in a 6 inch smeared blob on the floor between a table and the soda fountain which was a main traffic area. The... More

I don't like anything about DQ except their Blizzards. These were exceptional! Somehow, in spite of the parking lot being recently sealed, they managed to keep the smell out of the restaurant and the food. The staff was better than the usual lackadaisical DQ teenagers. I will always get my blizzards here when in the area.

My wife and I stopped here for a memorable Valentine's Day dinner: a red velvet Blizzard and a banana milkshake. We were not disappointed!

We drove from Chisos Basin, along the Rio Grande on 170 to Presido, up through Marfa and back to Alpine. Needless to say, we were a bit tried and couldn't fine much open in Alpine. So we decided to eat a DQ. The two guys working there were very nice and friendly, and the food was as expected. The place... More

Infested with flies. A dirty, dirty place. Said they were trying to get fly spray. They should put fly swatted at each table.
