We were passing through Alpine, TX on vacation and had not yet eaten lunch, but it was 2:00 pm. Checked our phone for "restaurants near you." Of the few in the area, most either closed at 2:00 or weren't open that day. Then we read about Alicia's and followed the directions to get there, on what seemed like a little... More

Everyone from the Big Bend eats at Alicia's. Why? The burgers are big and juicy; the French fries are hand cut, crispy hot outside and tender inside; the burritos are just right. The prices are great. Family-run for 3 generations! Don't miss this Alpine landmark.

Used to be so good - I'm so sad after my last visit. At shortly after 11 I finally ordered after the waitress waited on two other tables who were seated after me - it was a full thirty minutes, and it wasn't busy. A manager of some type took the drink order and then went off to do... I... More

(Warning: young adults from Central Florida in for vacation) There’s not many places in Alpine to fulfill a Mexican food craving. Unfortunately we got off to a bad foot as we were seated fairly quickly however it took about 10 minutes before someone approached us again. It was busy, however it also seemed they were dreadfully understaffed. DISHES WERE BLAND... More

Alicia's has some of the best burritos and hamburgers in town. Great little place to eat!!!! We have also had lunch and we could still have breakfast there. It is a bit small, but we all had a great time.

We went there to get Mexican food, but when we walked in the burgers smelled so good we ordered that. We were NOT disappointed! The ragged edges on the burgers, the paper sleeves they were served in, the fries with the skin left on, it was all just like we used to have at home. Excellent!!!!!! The service was excellent... I finished a business meeting and was driving around the small town of Alpine, Texas when I happened on this place. The weather was wet and wintery yet the aroma of freshly cooked hamburgers was in the air as I parked my rental car. They have Burritos and Tacos, but I had to order a burger. It was delicious!

Food was great. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was pretty full. Worth the wait. Great Mexican food. I'll be back.

We return to Alicia's whenever we are in Alpine. Today we had the Zo burrito with fajita chicken and the MX hamburger. So fresh, great home cooking, fun & friendly place, big servings, low prices. I could go right back tomorrow!
