This cute local restaurant was a short 2 miles from our hotel. It is off the main path and in a quieter neighborhood, but a gem when you get inside. Friendly helpful staff. Great food displayed well and the perfect amount for travelers who cant take leftovers. A local place which we love. I recommend it for families and couples.... More

We are lunch there before going to the airport. God, attentive service. Good food that was very flavorful.

The food was delicious and the best Mexican food I’ve eaten! The chips and tortillas are homemade and mouth-wateringly good. The restaurant mainly consisted of locals, which I believe confirms the quality of the food.

Enjoyed it very much. Food was good and so was the service. It is nothing to look at on the outside but would definitely go back again.

A bit out of the way, but with Google we found it pretty easily. Good enchiladas. Not too spicy which was nice for a change from other places. Hot sauce for chips a bit runny with not a lot of flavor. Nice service. Reasonable price.

The carne Asada goals are my favorite and the bean do is really good too! This is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in amarillo. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent food in an unassuming location. Service was good and meal was inexpensive. Recommend the flautas de papa and tacos de carne asada.

Had a great meal at El Manantial. I had googled "great guacamole" and this was a recommended restaurant. We had fajitas and a quesadilla...and of course the guacamole! Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food ($30 for two entrees, two teas and two appetizers). I would highly recommend this place!

My family travels to Amarillo often, but we have never been here. We heard about this spot by chance. It's located in a part of town we rarely go to but we figured why not. Well I'm so glad we did. Probably the best Mexican food I've ever had! The inside was clean, wait staff was on it and the... More

If this place were in Half Moon Bay and you were in San Mateo, it would be a Destination Restaurant, but it's in Amarillo, which is not really a place you go unless you are visiting a friend in prison or building nuclear bombs, so, not quite. But if you do happen to be in Amarillo, OMG. The special the... More
