There wasn't any part of the meal that I didn't enjoy. I had Carne Guisada, which I definitely recommend. The guacamole was good, the pica de gallo was good, the salsa was good, the rice, beans, and Carne Guisada were excellent. The server was very friendly. We stopped here from out of town and normally try several different places, but... More

The hotel we stayed at recommended this restaurant. It was the most authentic Mexican food I've had since I was in Mexico. The place was not fancy but the staff was friendly, the prices very fair and the food was outstanding!!!

My daughter and I were starving after hiking Palo Duro Canyon and wanted some good food. El Bracero was excellent. As soon as we got out of the car we could smell the grilled onions. The service was prompt. The food was nice portions and seasoned well. Would definitely eat here again if ever in the area.

Nice stop and don't be fooled by the building. Most restaurants like this are usually a great find. For those traveling through the Amarillo area this place is easy to get too from I40 just exit Grand and go south about 1/4 mile and its on the right. Great and friendly service. The chips were crisp and good, had two... More

The food and service was excellent. It is a small place but very clean. 3 of us ordered fajitas with quail, shrimp, and beef and lots of extras. We shared it because it was so large and we still had leftovers.

We came here at 8:30 on a Thursday night. My boyfriend's parents got there about ten minutes before we did. When we arrived they still had not received their drinks. A couple walked in behind us and sat at a different table. The waitress immediately went and greeted them and took their drink order. When she was walking by, my... More

The food is not fancy, but it's delicious! Order one of the grills if you are with a big enough group! The shrimp & quail are delicious, but the pork is good, too! The building is a dump, but this is seriously good food!!!

I went here on a recent visit to Amarillo with others from Amarillo. I am trying to eat healthy, which isn't easy at a Mexican Restaurant. The chips and salsa were good, salsa wasn't too hot, and you just wanted to keep eating them. I had Plato Oaxaca: Poblano Pepper Stuffed with White Fish & Shrimp, Topped with Spicy Cream... More

My husband and son liked this place if you are not big on cilantro like me I do not recommend this place. They only have Mexican coke or Pepsi. I am not a fan if either. The waitress acted like it was a bother to wait on us.

Another good authentic Mexican food restaurant for Amarillo. Once again I love the authentic feel of this restaurant along with the great food. My family loves the red sauce they bring out with chips but if you like hot ask for the green sauce!! My wife likes the veggie fajita plate, I prefer beef fajita's or once again almost anything...
