I love this kind of place and food............but we all know that you can't eat this all the time. I had the Texas Fried Chicken. This came with gravy, mashed potatoes and salad. Good but the chicken is over cooked and pretty dry, especially w/o the gravy. The gravy is pretty normal along with the salad. Good food........pretty standard fare for... More

Went here based on previous reviews. It was good and cheap. I looked at ticket and said cheapest breakfast we have had on a long time. Parking lot was filled and so was side streets etc. My husband said this place is insane not sure we should go but there was no wait as the place is huge on the... More

This is a classic western diner-type restaurant and just the place for breakfast. It has a large menu, friendly wait staff, reasonable prices, and many interesting decorations on the walls. Not the place to come if you're on a diet; come hungry, leave satisfied. The name says it's downtown but it's not what I'd call downtown, although it's definitely in... More

We stopped for breakfast and were there with our two boys, and we didn't see a kids menu. The pancake was huge! My others had an egg sandwich that came with lettuce and tomato on the side and came with chips. That seemed a little strange to me. My husband and I had the burrito. We decided to go cheeseless,... I always get the Chicken Fried Steak. They have it breakfast and lunch. We like the breakfast on the weekends. Staff is always friendly and prompt. The owner is seen in the dining room talking to the customers regularly.

Our church was on a trip and we reserved a lunch time visit with 50 people on a bus. We arrived at 11:45 and was out the door by 1:00. Even the owner came out and visited with us and help out the servers. Everyone in the group was satisfied with their food.

This very large restaurant is "just okay" but not one I would return to. The food is very average. The menu is large, as well.

This is just good home cooked food. Really good cheeseburger and the banana pudding is worth the trip by itself. Popular place with a big lunch crowd.
