Once you get over that this is a very touristy place, I think the food and beers are good. We enjoyed the complimentary limo service from our campground, with quick pick up from the nearby KOA. This is the 2nd time we’ve gone to the...More

Given the size and scope of this place--and the clear tourist draw--I wasn't expecting much, but found the food to be great. The service was excellent and the ribeye was cooked perfectly. Sides were superb (beans!) and the rolls were light, fluffy, and tasty. Prices...More
It was Father's Day last summer when we stopped for the night in Amarillo on our way out to Phoenix. We were thrilled to find the Big Texan to treat "Dad", my husband, after his long day driving. We steaks were great, but it was...More
I have stopped here a couple of times. Food has always been good, I actually had the same waitress both times. Polite, friendly and professional. The only thing that drives me crazy is that their butter is in these tiny single serve packages. You have...More
This is obviously a tourist attraction, and certainly popular. They advertise the 72 oz steak dinner - if you can eat it all it is free! We weren't even going to try. The service and the food were good. It was an interesting place. Plenty...More
It was an okay experience, food was good, atmosphere was nice but I think they can make have better service from waitresses, ours was rude and not paying much attention to us.
Had the regular sized steak. No way doing a 72 ouncer. Great food great waiter great atmosphere. A must stop and see place if in or going thru Amarillo.
We sure do love hearin' that you enjoyed your time with us! We make sure every customer gets the best cowboy grub and even better friendly service. Come back and ses us again!

The food was good, but a bit pricey. The service was great. The theme and decor were very fitting for the Texas panhandle. The "gelato" was just ice cream. It was not that great and was way over priced. They brew their own beer and...More
It's always nice to see all the west texas memorabilia around the place while chowin' down on some good cowboy grub. Come back and see us for some more gelato and a big 'ol craft brew!
