We stayed at the Hampton Inn and the Big Texan was right next door, so we went. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table so we looked in the gift shop and there was a man doing magic tricks too. We were...More

This place definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere is pure Texan with the restaurant, beer garden, gift shop, and even a shooting game. They have an array of craft beers, a great gift shop, full bar, and a large menu selection. My wife...More

We came in on a Tuesday at 11:30 AM, there were maybe a dozen people there. The hostess seated us and that was it. We sat there for over 10 minutes without any other contact with the staff. I decided enough was enough and we...More

We were driving cross country from Florida to California and stopped here for dinner. The wait was fairly short and the food was excellent! Our little server was informative and entertaining. Don't pass by this gem!!!

The ribs were barely warm and the brisket was so over cooked that I couldn't eat it. The corn and potatoes were like warm. Would not return.

While I typically shy away from crowded places I did enjoy the visit and meal. There is ample seating...though you might have to browse the shop for a few minutes until a table comes available. It has a nice, Texas atmosphere and the staff are...More
